just realized that the text in the opening moves likes those blocks that lag the game out so much, I love that level of detail you added in its so cool
Being someone who did play all the NES back those days, I have to say, that on the one hand the remix is technically impressive how it sounds now like a Mega Drive game rather than a NES game. However I don‘t like the style of the remix, the music in the Dust Man stage was always somehow special in the way how it was a rather calm music and created a relaxed atmosphere. This remix doesn‘t catch this atmosphere at all and would change this way how playing the stage would feel. Please redo this remix again and make sure, that remixes don‘t change the atmosphere of the original levels. Just because you can add instruments like in this case some drums it doesn‘t mean you have to and that it is an improvement 😉
@@trazodeltiempo1466 Well, imho they should at least take my opinion into consideration, since at least I guess they want to target fans of the original games and I did play the NES games and the original Wily Wars and still love the games and the music. And I guess this are the people who they target with such a fan remake. A good remix is a way to make it sound more modern or in this case like another system but without changing the atmosphere of the song and this way also the feeling of the stage. Here it is still the original melody and sounds like a Mega Drive/Genesis system but the mysterious and calm atmosphere that made the Dust Man stage somehow special is gone and for people who want to make a proper remake this should be a concern. No complaint and just some hones feedback, if people don‘t care about this opinion so be it, in the end if I don‘t enjoy this fan remake I also don‘t have to care about it and can play something else instead 😉
@@trazodeltiempo1466 Since I am fan of the Megaman series since the 1980s I like the idea of a second collection in the style of Wily Wars if done right, so I gave my feedback, so right now I do care and keep an eye on this project from time to time. If in the end the project is not done right (and remixes like the one might lead me to that conclusion) I would lose interest and not care anymore. I think by saying „if I don‘t enjoy this fan remake I don‘t have to care about it“ I made myself clear but whatever, I have no problem with explaining it more detailed if it turns out that people indeed do care about my opinion 😉
sequel wars is shaping up to be one of my favourate mega man homebrew games
Technically it is a fangame, just built on Genesis hardware. It is it's own rom and engine
@@randomguyontheinternet7940 which... is a homebrew... because it's fanmade on console hardware...
Capcom should of already caught up with 4-6 wily wars like WTF

Holy crap this is awesome can't wait to see the full game!!!
I like how the Logo forms and flashed just like those platforms found later through the stage. Neat touch lol
This Sounds Amazing! Tell Woodfrog and the team to keep up the good work!
Having played the demo, I couldn't help bop my head to this banger of a track
sounds like mega man but also castlevania but also mega man but also
Aside for the odd looping at 1:13 , this is an amazing remix. I honestly can’t believe this’ll work in the actual game
it seems subjective, I don't find this loop odd
Serious bass, awesome remix.

dude, you were asking them to redo it just because you didn't like it
if you didn't care then why do you even write about it?
