After losing the finals of IEM Katowice to Serral, you'd think all Maru woulda done since then was train and focus on how to beat the one guy who consistently stands in his way. I absolutely LOVE Serral, and I ABSOLUTELY LOV E Maru. Watching this Final call me a hater but 1. Maru, did not want to win, 2. Maru was asked to lose, 3Marus, Govt did nto want him to win. If you look at ALL his games against Zerg and his performances against Serral, you can SEE that he does not play a proper Maru TvZ when in International Tournys. Looking at his face after each match, you can see something in his face that shows he is NOT putting his best game forward. Just my thoughts
Many share this sentiment. But I see this as how absurd the whole GOAT discussion is. I suppose that in basketball MJ is still considered goat, but Lebron is a close second. But what if prime time Lebron actually played against prime time MJ, and got totally obliterated on a regular basis? Like if on average, MJ is defending Lebron and shutting him down to something like 19pts, 6 ast, 8 rebs, 5 tos, whilst self getting 43pts, 5 ast, 8 rebs and 5 steals? That is what Serral is doing against Maru. It is what Serral has always been doing based on his track record: 43 - 19 (see what I did with the point comparison here?). So, no. Serral is the GOAT. Serral is MJ. Maru is Scottie Pippen: a great player - but always second to MJ.
I played SC BroodWar a lot and watching them is so frustrating. SC/BW have way better caster than in SC2 and they are just not using them. Where are the Arbiter? Where are the Queens? Where are the Ghosts? If SC/BW team just build Arbiters they could have won easily. Invisibility, Stasis Field and Recall.
Artosis posting a video trying to defend his delusional take on the GOAT case, disrespecting Serral. A couple of days later Serral: "This is all I needed. I took offence to that".

2. Maru was asked to lose,
3Marus, Govt did nto want him to win.
If you look at ALL his games against Zerg and his performances against Serral, you can SEE that he does not play a proper Maru TvZ when in International Tournys. Looking at his face after each match, you can see something in his face that shows he is NOT putting his best game forward. Just my thoughts
So Serral does bleed!
It's hard to play terran in this game knowing that terran will always be nerfed and zerg will always be overpowered.
Maru siempre será recordado por ser la perra de el GOAT Serral
Serral dude....nerf that guy
What ??? Marru what happened ??? :O
Serral=MJ Maru=Lebron
@@leinis80 Can't say I disagree. I do remember a few years back Maru did get Serral in a big Tournament, I don't think he has lost to him since.
Serral fighting!
Amazing
We already know who's gonna be the champ... again... 😂
Serral otra vez 4-0 a Maru 😂😂😂😂😂 👊🏻💪🏻😎✌🏻😒👏🏻 saludos from Perú 🇵🇪
Every zerg unit needs significant nerfs
I guess another balance patch is on the way to balance that man, to the detriment of other same race players everywhere.
The most disappointing final series I've ever seen
Why, it was great, this is how they should be :)
2:31:48 "can he get his mental back"
What are you smoking? Oliveira literally just hide his army. Trash commentary
Well done Serral, ya beast khunt!
Artosis posting a video trying to defend his delusional take on the GOAT case, disrespecting Serral. A couple of days later Serral: "This is all I needed. I took offence to that".
Sclerosis is just that, delusional. He knows even less about the actual state of SC2 than he knows about the game itself and that's very little. In fact he knows so little he doesn't often realise how wrong he is or how nonsensical what he says is.
4:0 vs Maru. Incredible 😄
Spoiler shield please!!
