    I went to my LCS today and bought 40 halves...Franklins and Walking Liberty's. I have maybe 15 Eagles, but I'm not really into them...my favorite silver to buy is Walking Liberty's, Franklins and 1964 Kennedy's.

      Nice! All I got was 15 cull Morgans, trying to fill a chest with em

    I like dimes, but unfortunately Mercury dimes are also being counterfeited. Use caution when buying any kind of precious metals.

    I have been picking up my 90% for $17 to $20. To me a bargain. But. It is getting harding to obtain 90s where I go to get my silver. Keep on stacking ALL silver. ❤✌

    Premiums are so low these days that you can easily just buy what you like and not get ripped off.

    Let us assume that $24 an ounce spots what would be a decent price to pay for a dollar face value? Thank you, I just subscribed.

    Junk silver is musical, due to the 10% copper, and i like to clink it.

  • @Kcconnor

    $1.40 in pre 1965. Is equal to a Troy Ounce . But on the other hand silver coins are more easily be bartered with.
    You do not accept melt value for an eagle. They do carry a premium, however the continental coins also can be bought by more and different buyers than just ASE

    • @Jamethin
      @Jamethin  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah that's one of the reasons I lean towards 90%. I see ASE's as more of a gimmick

    World is never going back to silver coins. I stack them but I know I will never buy bread with junk silver.

    • @Jamethin
      @Jamethin  ปีที่แล้ว

      You are most likely correct. I just see in history that empires fall and there isn't much else to put money in that's a physical store of value. I think it would take something crazy to happen for us to need to go back to silver and gold

      @@Jamethin especially since there is not enough silver or gold to make it feasible as standard trade. If stores only took metals for food, you better believe the stores would be looted and burned within 24 hours. There will be no chance to barter. Those goods will be gone off the shelves either legally or illegally. The majority of society won’t stand by and watch us give a Morgan dollar for some steak.

      Jefferson war nickels? I just consider those junk, 35% silver is so little I don't know anybody who even wants them. At the shop we just fill a mug and then bring them down to an exchange. Not much to talk about
