We followed a maple syrup sign down a dirt road in VT. At the end, a delightful farm house where no one was home. However, up on the porch were several jars of homemade syrup with a money jar. So quaint.
My Dad is 4th generation farmer on his farm in Northern Indiana. There is nothing better than going back to the woods in the late winter/early spring to his sugar camp while the sugar water is cooking into maple syrup!!! Smells wonderful! ❤️
When I get to Vermont, I will definitely make a stop at Sugarbush Farm. Farm fresh cheese and REAL maple syrup, I am in heaven. Such a great spot and beautiful area.
I lived in Vermont for 45 years but live in Florida now. I spent June and July back in Vermont camping in my van and visiting my daughter and grandkids. Vermont is beautiful but so often overcast. I prefer the Florida sunshine these days. You captured the beauty of Vermont so well. Thanks Allison. By the way, I bring my own real Vermont maple syrup with me to restaurants here in Florida when I go out to breakfast, which I did just this morning! No way could I ever eat that fake stuff. Sometimes when you ask if they have real Vermont maple syrup at a restaurant here they don't even know what you're talking about. OMG. They have not lived. ;-)
@@travelsnacks You should its good. Ik it sounds strange but the sweet/sour taste is mellowed by the cheese. Fruits and cheese mix very well. Guava paste and sharp cheddar is a good one as well. There are some places that make apple pies the old fashioned way with crust on top and also cheese on that too. Again very good.:)
Love the driving sequence in the beginning! Oh my gosh I cannot believe that snow count - Vermont is gorgeous in summer but I think those winters would do me in for sure! Great destination and that Chapel was adorable! One great positive about pandemic is that these agri-tourism spots are growing in popularity- such a great thing to support local farmers! Especially when they put out such great healthy products (although I think you were being dissed by the goats 🐐😂).
I love VT! Was ready to move there after my first visit! I'm so glad you did this video. I've not seen others do VT. Good vibes.
I moved here in 1985 and I still have such appreciate all the beauty every season holds 💛 . Our green mountain state. So glad you visited.

Glad you’re back! Can’t wait to see what snacks I can eat vicariously through you. Lol
Another great video
Loved the set up they have
Yum sharp cheese and maple syrup
May you have smooth roads and blue sky
God bless
I love sharing adventures with you
Thank you for being part of the journey!
We love cheese and maple! Thanks for sharing this experience with us!
A rechargeable camping fan is a great way to move air when you don't want to run the AC. Some come with a built in LED light. I love your videos 💥🌟🤩
I have a small usb fan that I use in my living area. It definitely helps on a hot day!
Sharp cheese is the best. I love your videos and the bloopers are like the cherry on the icing. 😁😂❤
Sharp cheddar is the best! Thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed the bloopers!
We go up in the fall ( from Long Island) to see the changing leaves. Maybe we will try a stop there.
Oh I bet it’s gorgeous! Definitely try to go if you can.
Love Vermont great state

Awww I’m so glad you enjoyed the video. And yes, that fake syrup is yuck compared to the real thing!
I too enjoy cheese... stay safe
Awesome video 😎
Hmmmm, the only thing I love more than cheese is my grandson!
You need to go to Williamsburg VA and to Gatlinburg TN, it’s worth the drive.
I’ll add them to my list!
Cheese, cheese, cheese, cheese, cheese, cheese, cheese, cheese. Love, love, love it! 😎🤙
Yummy stop 👏👏👏
It was awesome!
You are so beautiful, fun and make my day better in every way thank you for being you😀
Thanks for watching!, I appreciate it!
How do you determine your route and what places you want to visit?
What were the syrups in the beginning ? I love Cracker Barrel syrups..🌞💜
Oh I love crackerbarrel syrup too!
Those were examples of how much junk they put in store bought syrups. It was a display showing the difference between those and real pure maple syrup.
I was afraid that's what it was. I was also hoping they were showing who used their syrup.
Vermont certainly is fairytale like.
What type of camera do you use?
It's so beautiful! I use the Canon G7X Mark III.
Was just thinking of you.
Aww thanks! Hope you’re doing well!
I love me a good sweet maple syrup… Do you know where they sell it at?
Field trip! I miss the days of being able to eat pure maple syrup. 🙁
But I can still eat cheese! And I love me some good sharp 🧀
RIP lil Pop Tart 😥
You should try sharp cheddar with plums..
Sharp cheddar is my favorite too! And yes RIP lil pop tart🐐
Oh I’ve never tried cheese with plums!

You had us at cheese.

Goats! I love Goats!!!! WHOOP WHOOP
Goats are great! 🐐
Yummy I want some cheese!
Cheeeeeese 🧀

Yes indeed! 🧀
Are you going to see Mnt Rushmore? Isnt that in Vermont?
Mount Rushmore is in South Dakota 🙃
I went to Mount Rushmore a few years ago. It was ok but not as grand as I expected.
@@granthoule Ohhhhhhhh haha..Idkw I always think its in Vermont. lol Ty
@@travelsnacks It looks so huge on tv.

🙋☕🌷
Don’t you have air conditioning?!
I do in my driving area, not in the back where I sleep though. I try to keep the a/c off when I’m filming so it’s not too loud. 😊
