Thank you for the 3 videos should be a big help when I pull mine out. Only pulling it out to do all the other things that you cant get to as engine and gearbox are really good - cars only done 79k
great video ;) did it on mine too. i used kind of the same method, i first put the engine on trolley at the height of the car, then lifted the car, hold the car, and move the engine out. To put it back, lifted the car, hold the car, move the engine under, put car down and lift up engine up to the body ;)
thanks for the videos, i've beel looking one year for it. i've always thought it was better to pull the engine from the top. can you tell me if its possible? why you didn't that way? and your opinion about it? i am alone with a crane just like you and want to do it right. Thanks for help
Good job sir - next time perhaps big zip ties to keep the drive shafts out the way :) to be fair I removed my suspension etc as one piece each side as it was only a few more bolts. I think if I were to do that again, I would weld up a small frame with wheels that you could mount to the bottom of the engine, that way it would keep the engine true and square as you lift the car over it. Check for rust under the front left and right engine mounts, as I’m sure you know they rot there ... also bet there is a hole under you heater unit... brilliant water trap. Removing the heater unit without breaking it is almost as difficult as engine removal ! Please film that :) regards from sunny Jersey.

Well done, Commendable persistence and patience with restrictive parameters. Top man!

wonderful job. Such an informative channel! Congrats!
Thanks Herve, I'm still learning! but we can do it better ourselves.
Thanks for the video. Very helpful!
Hi who would you recommend for a complete engine rebuild
my god that is some DOSE. WELL DONE
That's some achievement in a single garage without a lift! Whilst the engine is out, are you doing clutch, sensors, vacuum pipes etc?
