Transformation of wasteland into a park by NF Railway in 1.6 crore budget

The Northeast Frontier Railway, in keeping with its resolve to protect the environment, has transformed a wasteland in Guwahati into a beautiful park.
The park, named Sirisha Rail Udyaan, has been developed in the railways' own BG Colony in the Maligaon locality.
This initiative is crucial for Guwahati, which has very few parks, and is a commendable step by NF Railway to improve the environment and community well-being.
