the bundle (Evolution + Climate) is on sale right now on Steam so i went ahead & added it to my ever growing collecion of digital board game adaptations. Looks like a lot of fun based on your very thorough review, thumbs up!
Thank you for the review. I'm still undecided whether I want to get it or not but that's mainly due to me not really caring for games at all anymore. Most games I do buy just sit unplayed physical or digital.
I hear you, no reason to force it if you're undecided, play the games that you want to play. Evolution's great but, like most games, it's not for everyone. If you're on the fence, keep an eye out for Evolution: Climate! It takes it to the next level and that might be enough to convince you. Either way, thanks for watching!
@@AllYouCanBoard I bought a physical copy of oceans, but I have no one to play with, so I downloaded the Oceans app on my iPad, and although it’s still in development and has a lot of bugs, it is a very very high quality app. So now I want to get into Evolution as well. @hellwroughtangel, I think you should try it!
Thanks Paul, good to know. North Star Digital is really good about listening to feedback and addressing concerns for these digital games so I'm sure any major bugs will be worked out over time. I'll have to check out that Oceans app too! - Carlo
Depends on your experience level and how quick your turns are. Shortest scenario was maybe 10 minutes, with longer ones being up to 45 minutes at most I'd say. Average scenario is probably 20-30 minutes. The publisher has said the campaign is 7-10 hours, I'd say closer to 10. Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

You said there were 24 scenarios in the game. Any ballpark figure on how long each of them are?

@@AllYouCanBoard, perfect. Thanks!
Does it keep any solo stats, wins, losses?
Sorry, I don't remember. It's been over 3 years since I played the app.
