Wow that was so impressive Michael! I loved all the multiuse elements, and then the ending was amazing. The fan slowly turning the pages was very satisfying, and the way you set up the violin worked so well! Great job on this.

This strikes a really good balance between aesthetic and complexity. I love it.

May I say as a classical violinist, that I LOVE the fact that you set up an entire Rube Goldberg machine with the payoff of a violin playing Bach at the end!
Such a fine concept, especially the suspenseful part of waiting for both the books to finish having their pages blown over!
    Bravo sir, bravo ^_^

That was perfect! Easy to follow, yet the tricks were still so creative and visually pleasing. The end goal was awesome too, great machine!

I’m glad to see you building machines again, and this one was actually pretty impressive considering how long it’s been since you built anything. I especially liked the tennis ball can trick and the sliding cards trick. Good work.

This is incredible! The entire machine was so satisfying to watch, its definitely your best yet. And that ending! I didn't expect it to play the violin in the way it did. Amazing work :)

To me, this machine feels a bit incomplete, like it's overall just missing something. The different tricks feel like could have had a bit more interaction and connection with one another, it's sort of like they are being segregated. Each of the tricks also lack variation in terms of size, complexity, speed and general feeling it gives the viewer - the one exception of course being the fan trick, and I didn't really like how it was almost as long as the rest of the machine together and I felt that putting it at the final trick before the goal makes the pacing feel unnatural. For me, in order to make up for that, it would've needed some standout individual ideas or an interesting concept to make the machine more memorable, but it didn't really have that either. Don't get me wrong, there are certainly some pretty nifty ideas in there, like the tennis ball-birthing, the tilted board with the uno cards, and the neckties and hangers sharing the cardboard tube, but they're not quite enough to really catch my eye and give it that extra charm.
I think the main fault though is that conceptually, I seems like you went for a Lemonade Machine-inspired style, even though the thing that makes the Lemonade Machine work so effectively is that it is, at its core, a themed machine, themed around the many different rooms that it travels in and out of, and since it travels through the whole house, it feels very complete in every aspect - like you couldn't just watch a 2-minute segment of that machine and say that that part would work well as a separate machine on it's own, yet that's exactly what this machine that you've created feels like to me. I think that thinking so heavily about professionalism caused your decisions to be less instinctual, and ended up killing a lot of the charm, personality and unity that this machine could've had. Of course, it's just my opinion, and it doesn't seem like anyone else really shares it. You should still be proud of this, as there are a lot of pretty nice parts throughout the whole thing; I just feel like it kind of lacks the necessary elements to tie those parts together. Something to look out for in the future!
