You can save the trouble of having to go through Shoreside Vale by taking the boat and shooting the plane down while you’re still in the boat. You can collect any cargo that falls into the ocean by driving your boat to it. Once all the cargo is collected, drive the boat back to the nearest pier, take a car, and it’s super close to the construction site.

taking the boat for this mission is like hyper aids because the boat is so slow, half the time the chopper shoots you down before you even get half the packages, and if you blow it up you bump up to 5 stars, so you get the immensely faster FBI cars on you.

Hidden among the planes on your way out is a police star. So grab that and go down to three stars. Then take a left instead of going across the bridge immediately and head up to the nearby paynspray. Will make the journey back to Asuka much easier.

Inb4 get shot by Mafia with shotguns and every other game with AK's and M16's that fire 1000 shots per second. Nah but I actually love this gangs soo much, it just has a feeling that makes me want to replay it.
I don't mind the graphic, it was groundbreaking for it's time. Nowadays it's hard to enjoy it like we used to. You have mafia with OP shotgun and Colombian and Triads and Yardie and Diablo all try to kill you, which really limit the roaming elements. M16 is way too OP and got your HP to 0 in a blink of an eye. Voice acting is cringy and over the top, characters like Catalina and Tony just annoyed the shit outta you when they talk. The atmosphere is dark and boring, the city isnt seemed alive. GTA Vice City is almost just as old but was such a huge improvement that even now you can still enjoy it.

Hardest mission in GTA history! Espresso 2 Go is easy once you know the routes, but this is harder than anything else except the paramedic side mission in GTA 3 which is hard without a full sized map and the gangs shooting with shotguns!

I actually used a boat to get to the buoy markers and sniped the cartel guys waiting for me. Once I shot the plane and collected the cargo, I got back to Staunton with a different boat and approached the land to get any car I could find. I then went to the pay n spray to lose the heat. This method shown here looks easier, but it is just as hard. 🤦🏻♂️

The way you handled the1st half of the mission was genius, but the escape could've been better. I went to the francis international subyay entrance & used the police bribe then rode the subway til i got to the liberty campus stop, got off, then traveled to my safehouse and used the police bribes there to completely erase my 3-star wanted level.
I recently played this mission the way they intended by taking the boat, and quite frankly it wasn't as 'hard' as it seemed back in 2001. It increases the odds of mission failure a lot more since they don't give you much time to shoot the plane down since it's near the runway, but it wasn't too bad. Although, I'd advise anyone to just blow-up the plane on the runway itself and just deal with the cops, as it's presented in the video. It's definitely a much easier strategy.
So basically ignore what the game tells you to do because if you don't, you can't pass the mission. Gta 3 was broken as hell, the others were way better

How to do this mission easily: Before this mission find a bribe (It can't be bribe near hideouts) Then Press f3 and f1, wait few seconds then press f2 and f1 To activate this glitch press f3 and f1, then one star will be gone. During S.A.M. After you shoot the plane you get 4 star wanted level so activate the glitch 4 times 1. Get to the airport with boat 2. Snipe down columbians 3. Get to the runway and wait for the dodo 4. Shoot the dodo and collect packages 5. Use the replay and bribe glitch to lose wanted level 6. Done
easiest way, take a mafia sentinel, cross the bridge, destroy the first cartel cruiser with a bazooka, destroy the second one, wait for the plane, blow up the plane with bazooka, pick up the 8 packages and get the hell out and go to paynspray, just mind the cops
great strategy using tunnels then coming up by liberty campus. i took the boat to the dock by liberty campus then a car to the pay and spray. i know the end marker was close but i didn’t want to take any chances

Here's what I did: 1. Go find the the boat marked on the map. 2. Drive to the marked buoy, but DO NOT GO ONTO THE ISLAND. 3. You'll need to be really accurate, but, while still on your boat, shoot down the plane with your rocket launcher and grab the drugs in the water. If some landed onto the island, get out your boat and go get them. 4. Go back to where you got the boat and pray the cops don't kill you on your way back to the construction site.

Goodness, finally found a solution, u knw hw much I try this mission at the sea?
It's not true.
Here's what I did:
1. Go find the the boat marked on the map.
2. Drive to the marked buoy, but DO NOT GO ONTO THE ISLAND.
3. You'll need to be really accurate, but, while still on your boat, shoot down the plane with your rocket launcher and grab the drugs in the water. If some landed onto the island, get out your boat and go get them.
4. Go back to where you got the boat and pray the cops don't kill you on your way back to the construction site.

it's very hard to complete it from boat
