Dumgoyne. A Great Short Hike

- As I've not had a video out in a while. I took the opportunity to keep my hill fitness up and go up probably one of the most steepest hill of the Campsie hills Dumgoyne. The weather was fantastic and got to see views over to Loch Lomond. Also got to meet another youtuber @runningwithstephen a absolutely gem of a guy. Please check him out. His content is fantastic.
You can also make the hike longer and include Earls Seat. The highest point of the Campsie Hills. But because I was short for time cause I was working later that day I just opted to take on Dumgoyne

@outofayrshire143 cheers for watching mate. Yea not long. Excited but scared as am keep getting shin splints. I have recently purchased a support. Gonna test it out tomorrow on a hill walk. Taking my son up to Glenshee tomorrow morning.

You can't beat onld dumgoyne for keeping the hill fitness up, steep wee bugger.
Wee suggestion for you if looking to bag multiple munros snd a wildcamp, beinn a ghlo is a belter,

Fantastic mate! It was really great to meet you up there. I really need to learn that route you took by the way. Less life threatening 🤣. I think it took us about 27 mins to summit drumgoyne (if thats what its called haha). Oh how about this for fate, im parked behind you at drumgoyne, black Mercedes and scott is the mini behind. It was meant to be that we met that day by the way. Great vlog and epic drone footage - despite it being very windy up there. Thanks for sharing 😊

@MyScottishAdventures Awesome mate. I've been up the campsies (Lennoxtown) but never really properly explored. It wasn't until we were near Earls seat that Scott said there is Meikle Bin. I think I'll definitely do that next but more in detail. From the car park side at Lennoxtown. If you fancy a run 🏃♂️ lol.
@@runningwithstephen it would be hard for me to keep up with yous lol. But i could give it a try. I usually go up to Meikle Bin from the toadhole car park. Which is the shortest route. You can also park at carron valley resivour. Or if your more adventurous you can park at queenzieburn. I've never been up meikle bin from Lennoxtown side but do fancy it. I am free on Mon or Wed morning for a few hours after I drop my son off at school if you fancy a run somewhere and I could try and keep up lol.
@MyScottishAdventures oh this is a helpful tip mate 👍 thanks. Aye we could do that. Monday would be good mate. I'm nightshift Sunday and Monday haha. But I could still meet you on Monday. Are you local to hogganfield Loch? We could do a few loops around there.
