Looks similar to my dyno glo wall heaters except I have the blue flame model. It keeps my 2967 sq ft home a toasty 75 f. I have a total of 40,000 btu's throughout the house saving me hundreds of dollars a month from my electric bill. Just keep a carbon monoxide alarm near each heater as a safe guard, but most older homes have adequate air seepage enough to keep these running safely.
Sounds great! Thank you. We've yet not had to use it, really. I've got Carbon Monoxide Detector on order. I truly believe that's a necessity. Carbon Monoxide is a silent killer. What size of tanks do you use. We wished we'd purchased 2 of the 100lb just to be on the safe side. So I'd say we'll do that, evidently. Do you have to refill often? Thanks again appreciate all comments and opinions. Have a good night!
@CoupleOldFartsofKy I have two 40 lb and four 20 lb tanks. I have the 40 lb tank on the larger heater while two 20 lb tanks run the two smaller 10k btu heaters. I always have a set of full tanks ready to swap out. When one set goes empty I make a propane run to get them filled. I usually have to make a trip once a week, to keep the cycle going, but that depends on how cold it gets outside. I ordered two more 10k btu heaters for other areas like the workshop and dining room area. I order a couple of more 40 lb tanks, you can get them for about 100 bucks empty online. I find the 40's last alot longer and I can still load them into the truck easily.
Wow. They must be doing Great!!! That is wonderful. We just got total of 1600 sq ft home unfinished basement so this 30,000 btu should do great too. Thank you. Appreciate the info.

That's great to know thank you. This Weather alert for the next couple of weeks here in Kentucky may just tell the tell. No matter how hard one try's to prepare there is always I wish I should've done in the mist. 😀
@ - When I got this heater, my electric bill went from almost $300 per month to less than $100 per month. It took about a month and a half for my heater to pay for itself.
Wow. That's awesome to hear. Where did you install the heater at in-house? Have you had any issues keeping the pilot lit or shut off on you after hours of operation? I've read some ppl statements.
Really great and dependable. I have the same one n I even bought a blue flame too.The radian works super. As far as the blower. I never noticed any difference using the fan so I don’t even use the electric fan. The heater works super without it.
You could get a medium size power bank to run the fan, at least intermittently when the power goes out. My understanding is that these blower fans are pretty easy on power consumption. I'm sure the heater by itself, without the fan, should keep your basement pretty warm.
Thank you. That's a great idea!! Appreciate all your input. Hope our video helps and educates lots of people. Cost and items listed in description. Thank you, Again. Your idea sounds like a Winner!! 🫠
Thank you for question. It has not yet! Hopefully by using Mr. Heater" brand hose kits it won't start. If does I read use a fuel filter to remove oil contaminants from gas supply. Did you? We really haven't used our heater much yet. It's a backup emergency heat.
@CoupleOldFartsofKy Yes my Mr Heater Big Buddy certainly did. Even with a filter on it for a whole season. I've been watching all kinds of videos about how to clean them out. I'm about to go try some of them. I hope yours works flawlessly. Thank you for the reply.
Is the fan essential? I was thinking of putting the heater in my living room (house has no furnace) where i have a ceiling fan i was gonna leave on the low setting. Do you think that would work?
I am in no way an expert on this setup. I can only suggest my opinion. Fan is optional. Any air circulation is beneficial. If the house is air tight, need some kind of free air. Carbon Monoxide Detector is a necessity. Carbon Monoxide It is a silent killer. Best of Luck on your journey if you decide. We'll guide you with what we're only familiar with. Blessings to ya!! @CoupleOldFartsofKy welp, I did it! I got the unit and co detector, and set it up without installing the little motorized fan; just set the mr.heater unit in the middle of my living room under the ceiling fan (set on low, in the "winter" clockwise direction).. and holy cow..!! The entire house was warmed just on the level 2 setting! Haven't felt this warm in years! Thanks for your tutorial video, which gave me the confidence to go ahead and try this unit out, as all my electric space heaters were not helping much!

Well done. There are also wood stove fans that do not require electricity and use heat to spin them and move air.
Oh yes that would be good to have. Thanks for comment. Reminding us.
Nifty outfit.
I bought 1 of these heaters for the winter of 23/24. I love this heater.

@peacefieldfarm_mn I got one on order. I think very important health wise. Carbon Monoxide is a Silent Killer. Thank you for the question!
you need alittle bit of fresh air
Thank you. Our basement is unfinished and not air-tight. Air will be circulated. Appreciate pointing that out. We will definitely make sure.
