Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. (James 4:8) Pray to God's Holy Spirit who is inside each and every believer. It's okay to start slowly. Play some calming/nice music or an ambience video while reading. Follow along with a sermon. Know that reading God's Word is getting to know Him. And once you know Him, you'll also know that perfect love casts out all fear. There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. (1 John 4:18)
Try waking up when the sun just rose, go outside with your Bible and read outside. If you enjoy coffee then it's even more effective. That's how I basically tricked myself into first enjoying reading my Bible but eventually it became a habit because just like exercise, reading my Bible always leaves me feeling 200% better.
I don't know if this will help you or not. But when I started to learn how to read Bible,I read it like ordinary novel. My goal is to make it enjoyable experience so I could do it everyday without burden.I also try to imagine that I am the main character of the story. It stimulates my mind to think what will I do if I am at the same conditions as the MC, will I choose the same action like trusting God or not? This help me to understand what the Bible trying to teach. If I still don't understand what I read,I try to search some references on Google or TH-cam.
Can I give you a superficial answer? I bought pastelle pretty highlighters, translucent sticky notes, created a space for bible reading a really cute nook. I bought pretty stickers that I get to decorate my page with when I finish writing! And I have colorful pens! I promise you it helps motivate you, and I always make tea or a fruit water before I start.. I romanticize bible reading and it has helped so much! Also don’t forget to have some Christian music on in the background if you want ( I listen to johnathon Ogden, Allie Paige and others that are super calming and chill) that’s my advice hope this helps!

There are a few other examples that I won't dive quite into but not many. I also believe that humans aren't here to be supierior to other living beings on Earth (as a lot of Christians that I have met have told me is what is thought of; I don't know how true this is for many Christians though). I believe we are here to help them rather than be in charge or look down on that. I am very intrested in Christianity and I just didn't know where else to go to get answers (there's only so far you can go with Google). Hi so umm basically I'm also a teen (14) but I think I can answer Ur question. okay so basically following Christianity isn't just about following a set of rules. it's not a check list where you tick of every box and then you are suddenly a good person. Being a Christian means having a personal relationship with God. It means talking to him daily (it doesn't have to be long but it should be meaningful to u) . Confess maybe what your struggling with. For eg I could talk to God about anything school, boy, friends etc.. so yea ask God to guide you. start with Dear God or maybe even hey God and just ask for guidance and confess
Also when u say eye to eye with it all do u mean the commandment ? Because u have to remember that the Bible was written a long time ago (especially the old testament) so it may apply to that time. However the new testimony applies to us. So basically what I'm trying to say is see Christianity as a relationship with Jesus. after all he is your friend! Don't be influenced about what the world says about Christianity " Christians are homophobic" or " we are boring"talk to God like he is Ur friend
