You have the right idea. Make a ditch on the hill side down to the low spot and put a culvert there. Continue the ditch up the other side to the gate. Problem solved!❤
Take a pvc pipe and bury it under the gravel where the water runs across allowing the runoff from the hill to flow under the road to the othe side. We had to do that with a spot on our gravel road. Made a big difference. I love the sound of a running creek. If I were Rae, I wound have a louge chair down by it and could spend a couple of hrs reading while listening to that soothing peaceful sound. Your neighbor in Bartlesville.
Lay plastic shield down then put a foot of congrete.cut diamonds in concrete when wet let dry helps drainage and helps the gripping power .oh also put rods in concrete when pouring concrete. Run drainage ditch along both sides .

Chad we have had 5 inches of rain Saturday, I dumped the rain gauge and we got another 4 inches of rain Sunday. But today we were hammered we got 7 1/2 inches of rain in less than 12 hours. Prayers for everyone that's been affected or being affected by the tornadoes that have touched down over the past few days. Thank You for sharing your life with everyone. That creek water looked & sounded soooo awesome. My birthday is November 3rd so I will never forget what happened a year ago. I was crying for you all so hard & now I will always remember what happened to us as well. A 19yr old young man decided to drink & drive so at 1am he destroyed the whole north side of our house. I felt so blessed that my husband, me & our doggies were all ok & that his mother didn’t have to get that devastating call in the middle of the night. I have been praying for him to find Jesus & his identity in Christ Jesus. So not only thankful for that but also thankful that all you survived especially Case (too close call). Here in Oregon you cannot just do that. It affects the Waterway and the water Downstream etcetera you don't know no no just cuz you have water that runs through your property does not give you the right. Farmers with whales are having problems here in Oregon and being shut down for water usage or allotted and that's from Wells.
