I'm more comfortable now at $2 coin so it's just a matter of time. thanks for your tutelage, it's inspired my play.
On a short bankroll, in my humble opinion, the play with better odds is the right play. If you started with 1000 the right play is the straight flush draw. Like you said......it's gambling either way.
Yes, indeed. “Where” the player is (in terms of bankroll size) is a significant factor between choosing a long term vs. a short term playing strategy. You’re definitely on the right track in acknowledging that.🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
Not to mention if you are on a game that's "rolling", even if you play for hours and break even you still have accumulated lots of points. Especially so, if you are playing dollar denom or higher. The perks of VIP status are a part of the expected return. Learn to look at a five hour break even session as a win. Hotel rooms, meals, concert tickets.......those are the returns for that break even session.
Yes…..I couldn’t agree with you more! Breaking even is a win, not only for all the comps that you just mentioned, but also because every hand is a “free shot at a Royal” when you manage to break even. Exactly that! Thank you for your comment.🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎

Hey John.....how are the pay tables for .25 poker? I'm a low roller......LOL. My local has .25 9/6 Jacks or Better, 8/5 Bonus Poker and 9/5 Triple Bonus +. Our best Double Double Bonus in .25 is 9/5. So I mostly stick to Bonus and Triple Bonus +. Pala is an hour and a half from me.
Pechanga has the best pay tables on 9/6 JoB & 8/5 BP at ALL denominations (from 5¢, 10¢, 25¢, 50¢, $1, $2, $5, $10, $25, $50, & $100). Pala is not good at the 25¢ denomination, has 7/5 BP at 50¢ denomination (medium pay table) & 8/5 BP on the $1, $2, $5, $10, $20, & $25 denominations. Small stakes….play video poker at Pechanga, at $1 coin denominations & above, play at Pala. Good luck!🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
Satisfying sessions are getting rarer and rarer. 4 of a kind have gotten invisible. There is a clear and distinct difference from 2 years ago. What happened?
There’s approximately 2.6M hands in video poker. 1.4M of them favor the House, the other 1.2M favor the player. They come out randomly. Bad runs just means we’re swimming in a sea of the 1.4M hands that are against the player. Eventually when we’re swimming in the sea of 1.2M that favor the player all will be right with the world again. One of my friends just hit a $200,000 Royal Flush last night using the methodology that I expound upon on my channel……house money scaled across the higher denominations.🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
In the last year and a half I've gone from break even to thousands and thousands in the hole. I didn't decide to start playing lousy or stupid. Other people have also commented that 4oak have gone AWOL. I was at Tamarack Jct in Reno 2 days ago. I watched $200 disappear in 7 minutes, 25c denom, 5 coin bet. It was appalling. Atlantis and Peppermill are like running into a brick wall at 300 mph. I was at Laughlin NV a month ago. It was complete annihilation. I was at South Point a couple weeks ago, same thing. I always count my games. If my credits are going down fast I move on to the next game and machine and casino. When there is very little 3 of a kind, straights, and full houses, that tells me the game is in a low point, I think of it as activity. I watch the activity then decide where to go from there. 2 years ago 4oak was keeping me close to break even to hit bigger jackpots. Now it is nonexistent. My feeling is machines have been tightened up even though the pay tables are the same. A few weeks ago I came out of Legends Bay casino in Sparks NV. Some guy asked me for a ride to Not So Grand Sierra. I said sure no problem. He said his brother worked at IGT for 10 years in Reno. His brother told him that when a machine hits a jackpot it is unlikely it will hit another jackpot right away and the best strategy is to change machines often, very interesting from someone very familiar with IGT.
Really enjoying your teaching. Question - you started here at $200. How much should you have won above that to move up a denom or 2? And how long do you wait to see how "the will of the machine develops" before quitting? Do you always play down to 0?
Thank you. This session is longer than what I’ve shown so far. This is just the 1st part, so there is more to come. In general, a machine is wildly good if it is consistently hitting everything from JoB, 2 pair, trips, straights, flushes, and full houses with very few misses in between. When that happens, the goal is to keep moving across the denominations to the highest one & stay there hoping for 2, 3, & 4’s, Quad Aces, a Straight Flush, or ultimately the Royal Flush. Most of the time the machines aren’t on that kind of a wildly good run, but does runs can & do occur, and it’s best to take advantage of them when they’re “running wild”! The bottom line though, is that if you’re within 2 full houses “away” from being at your initial bankroll amount and good frequent “bottom of the pay table hits” are keeping with reach of that, then it’s ok to keep it rolling. If it stops rolling, you have nothing to lose by going to another machine and perhaps find one that’s rolling along better. On small bank rolls, I may just run them down to zero. On larger bankrolls, I’ll move around if necessary & if I hit a lot of full houses, Quads, Bonus Quads, or Royals, I’ll leave with those wins. Good Luck!🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
I haven’t posted videos on a while because my phone got stolen with all my videos in it and it wasn’t backed-up to the cloud.
Nice try
Part 2 of this video is coming soon. Thanks for watching!
? so what happened? i dont get it
I haven’t posted videos on a while because my phone got stolen with all my videos in it and it wasn’t backed-up to the cloud. I lost 10-20 videos and a lot of content from Reno filmed at IGT headquarters. It was a gut-wrenching & heartbreaking experience for me. I’m just now getting back into the saddle again. Thank you for your viewership.🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
i thought maybe something happened and they wouldnt let you film anymore or that it was something to do with the hackers in vegas. glad you are ok and doing well!@@johnsworldofvideopoker
Thank you. Except for the loss of all my videos everything is fine.🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
Long time no see how are you doing
My phone was stolen at a casino that I don’t feature on my channel & I lost 2-4 hours worth of videos. I was heartbroken over it. Just getting back to releasing videos again. Thank you for your patience and loyal support.🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
