Your statement needs to be heard more. When I was training to compete I also would see people leave after 1-2 workouts. I’d also see people with just pure natural abilities and barely put the work in to go to the next level. Consistency over time with the desire of always pushing yourself is absolutely the key. Love your outlook on life, cheers my friend 💪❤️
You and your friend are awesome and know you are both excelling at anything you pursue. Congratulations on your award as you have truly earned it brother.❤
@@NoahPetek You are most welcome. You have truly earned the accolades with all the hard work you put in to gain these amazing skills. You have my deepest respect brother. 💪💪
Hey, great video, the message and also the recording and editing. I find you very inspiring, please keep it up! Could you possibly make a video about a good J-step? I somehow can't get any height with it, no matter what I try. If I do an extra jump towards the end it gets better, but I lose a lot of energy. Many thanks in advance!
The actual secret to reaching anything you want in life: 1) Live in a first-world country, like the OP. 2) Be born to parents with lots of money so they could buy you expensive video cameras and pay for gymnastics classes as a child, like the OP. 3) Be longing for attention and validation from other people, like the OP. Notable mentions: 4) Being white, fit and at least mildly good-looking. 5) Narcissism will get you far, sadly.
I have to contradict. Noah is my son and we did not pay for one single camera. He earned his own money and paid for his equipment. But yes, some people have it harder than others.
Yes, I am priviliged in many ways. Obviously you are too!!! I have worked hard for all of my achievements (including being "fit and at least mildly good-looking" btw) regardless. Obviously you can´t do "literally anything" just because you have passion and patience. I´ll never run as fast as Usain Bolt. I´ll never deadlift 500kg like Eddie Hall. But I´ll certainly run faster and be stronger than the person who doesn´t try because they think they don´t have what it takes. When I was a kid I always thought that the people I looked up to were just different than me and I could never be like them. I thought it was impossible for me to reach that level of skill... until I surpassed it. This video is about inspiring people like my younger self and making them realize that they are capable of much more than they realize in many ways. You can choose to be inspired or at least be happy that I might inspire some young kids to follow their passions and become the person they always wanted to be OR you can choose to keep complaining about the unfairness of life, make assumptions about me and wallow in self-pity... it´s your choice.
@@NoahPetek My friend, you should edit the title of your video to something that captures your actual message, because *"the secret to reaching anything you want in life"* is not just "clickbait" misleading, it's entirely different from *"the secret to reaching your true, genetic potential,"* which is obviously what you're trying to push. You're obviously aware of this paradox because you've accepted the fact that you lack the genetic faculties that would allow you to reach the achievements which others have set records in (e.g. running & deadlifting), and for a pretty obvious reason: Not everyone is handed the same deck of cards in life, is given the same opportunities or is privileged like others might be. You may call yourself a "National Champion" at absolutely anything, but I guarantee you there's someone in a poor, broken-down village of Moldavia or Liberia who could surpass your achievement(s) in a heartbeat... but is barely able to reach a quarter of the success you've reached because his abusive father fled the country when he was three, his schizophrenic, psychic mother hanged herself when he was ten and he can't manage to stop ruminating about jumping from his favorite building, in his favorite parkour shoes... And purposely missing the one next to it so that gravity could help him end his emotional struggles. I'm not much older than you, but when I was your age, I thought I knew all of the answers to the mysteries life presented and would dish out sage advice -- kind of like you do in this video. Then I got older and realized I not only lacked the answers and knowledge to said mysteries, but I also lacked the correct questions to ask.
