great video, very informative. what size of swivel are you using for these? also could this mold be used with smaller Colorado blades or the indiana blades? thank you

Those turned out great Josh. Can you use a 3 ought hook with this mold? I like to throw a 3.3 swimbait and a super fluke jr and a 3 ought hook seems to work best for those. Have you tried the 4 ought on the 3.3 swimbaits?

Yes you can use a 3 ought. I don’t think I have tried the bigger hooks though. It’s a good mold I really like it. Give it a try you will like it. Thanks for watching

What happens if you get the lure too hot when applying the powder paint

The paint will burn and bubble up. It’s a trial and error. Best thing to do is go a little at a time and once you find out the time it needs to be heated you will be on the right track.

You ever have problems with lead getting into the hook eye? Hadn’t tried the tape trick, maybe taping it down like you did will help, but I had one in maybe 5 pours getting into the hook eye.

Can you cleanly pour a 1/4 and 3/8 with a thin wire 1/0 90 degree hook?

I have never tried a 1/0 hook so I am not sure that would be really small. Might be a different mold better for that
