I always feel bad when leaving some out . One day - and it’s going to take a lot of work to do this - I’m going to lay every single knife out . Couple blankets and tables - Every knife in my collection. That’s going to take me all day to set up . And all night to put back . But the video will be an Epic one . Might be a 2 parter . Ain’t no way I can squeeze them all in a 30 minute video . Might have to be a 4 part video 😂😂😂 4 30 minute videos . Just thinking about it and my back is already sore .

Plus the other thing is - I have to make sure no one is around . For example the guys who cut my lawn . They have shown up before while I was making videos . I just take a towel and cover the table . I wouldn’t know what to do if my entire collection is out . I’ll have to plan ahead . They are never hear on the same day . So it will have to be immediately after they cut the grass . That’s going to be hard to do . I never know when the grandkids are coming over either . My grandson would have a field day with all those beautiful blades lying out there !! No fear !! Haha 😂

But just that sheer surprise that I experienced receiving the Jed Hornbeak MK8 was just about the biggest surprise of my life . Did not see that coming !! My only regret ?? I wish I had recorded that moment !! I should of done an unboxing video . Damn !! I thought he was sending me a tshirt or something when he asked for my address . Yeah that is so old school too . Belongs in the Wild West !! This was basically my own idea and take on what I’ve seen in the film “ True Grit “. You can never get a full on photo of the knife . I can see the handle tucked in a belt . I can see the blade being used a few times . So I just used my imagination and made it what you see here . There is actually a knife made by Ontario a while back that some say was the knife used in the film . It is not . ( damn what is the name of that knife )?? If you Google “ Knife used in True Grit , you might be able to find that Ontario knife . Again - it’s very close to mine but not exactly. I’ll try to search that up again too .

Wow Cowboy C Bop those are some amazing custom knives. My favorites in this list are The Edwin Forest Bowie (I figure it might need a bigger handle for someone with bigger hands like me, but still a cool knife), Entry level Chopper, Aldo Rains Bowie (even though I never seen the movie), The KHHI Bowie, Wyatt Hynes Odin knife, Cowboy C Bop Combat knife, and the Jed Hornbeak MK-8 bowie. You know I thought you would put the KHHI Heartstopper and the Competition blade that they made for you in this video as well. I would they are amazing knives to. Also, you need to get one of Jed Hornbeak's Heartstopper's even though he isn't allowed to resale them is what I heard. Donnie told me that Jed is planning on making new videos and I can't wait to see his latest knife designs.
Hello Tinman! Thank you for your words! That's not a problem with the handle. We have customers who say that with the handle, with our Dexter knifes. Our knifes all handmade. So it's not a problem to change anything. We make the knifes, how the customer want it!
They can make whatever your heart desires brother . The Edwin Forrest they made for me is an exact replica of Bark Rivers version . And even the People who bought the Bark River thought the handle was a little small but once they used - it didn’t bother them anymore . They all want exactly what was used during the Jim Bowie days and the Fight at the Sandbar . This Forrest Bowie has definitely got history . Me personally?? I didn’t want to change anything . I also have medium sized hands so it is perfect for me . Maybe guys back in 1827 were all little fellas haha 😂

The OKC bushcraft woodsman I just got was not finished well at all QC seems non existent. I had to remove all the grind marks. Regrind the joke of an edge and shape the block of a handle. I hope the steel is good. I wanted to puke when I opened it up. You got one don't you?

I’m so curious of why you didn’t receive a nice one . Hmmmmmm ….. Make sure we are taking about the same one … Did yours come with a sheath ??? I don’t think mine did .
@@tubes5150 I bought mine online and it sure looks new considering it was packaged like new. It's the big one with 9.5 inch full flat grind. I like the design but you know knives and have an obvious love for good blades. I think you would say something. It came with the entire spine and handle edge totally rough. It looks like it has the plasma cutter or cutting torch marks were never touched. I never even seen a Chinese knife that bad. I was in a joking mood when I said 50 bucks for the Boker. I love it I can't get one with the stag handle. Love your attitude and it shows in your videos. I already finished it including the cutting edge one side with ground way more than the other. I emailed OKC and said I seriously think you have a disgruntled employee. Mine has a black nylon sheath. Good luck to you.

Wow Cowboy C Bop those are some amazing custom knives. My favorites in this list are The Edwin Forest Bowie (I figure it might need a bigger handle for someone with bigger hands like me, but still a cool knife), Entry level Chopper, Aldo Rains Bowie (even though I never seen the movie), The KHHI Bowie, Wyatt Hynes Odin knife, Cowboy C Bop Combat knife, and the Jed Hornbeak MK-8 bowie. You know I thought you would put the KHHI Heartstopper and the Competition blade that they made for you in this video as well. I would they are amazing knives to. Also, you need to get one of Jed Hornbeak's Heartstopper's even though he isn't allowed to resale them is what I heard. Donnie told me that Jed is planning on making new videos and I can't wait to see his latest knife designs.
Hello Tinman! Thank you for your words! That's not a problem with the handle. We have customers who say that with the handle, with our Dexter knifes. Our knifes all handmade. So it's not a problem to change anything. We make the knifes, how the customer want it!

The Edwin Forrest they made for me is an exact replica of Bark Rivers version .
And even the People who bought the Bark River thought the handle was a little small but once they used - it didn’t bother them anymore .
They all want exactly what was used during the Jim Bowie days and the Fight at the Sandbar .
This Forrest Bowie has definitely got history .

The OKC bushcraft woodsman I just got was not finished well at all QC seems non existent. I had to remove all the grind marks. Regrind the joke of an edge and shape the block of a handle. I hope the steel is good. I wanted to puke when I opened it up. You got one don't you?

@@tubes5150 I bought mine online and it sure looks new considering it was packaged like new. It's the big one with 9.5 inch full flat grind. I like the design but you know knives and have an obvious love for good blades. I think you would say something. It came with the entire spine and handle edge totally rough. It looks like it has the plasma cutter or cutting torch marks were never touched. I never even seen a Chinese knife that bad. I was in a joking mood when I said 50 bucks for the Boker. I love it I can't get one with the stag handle. Love your attitude and it shows in your videos. I already finished it including the cutting edge one side with ground way more than the other. I emailed OKC and said I seriously think you have a disgruntled employee. Mine has a black nylon sheath. Good luck to you.
