I think he is overwhelmed by his victory being a first timer. There is a lot in life he needs to learn. Our African cultures, all religions and moral values teach us to respect our elders. What goes around comes around, I agree with you Caroline family is off limits.
I know and understand that the "first time" excitement brought this on. It's the reason I'm more worried for him than upset with him.

Caroline, this is a very good advice to all our political leaders. One wonders why our country has reached this level. Leaders being given media coverage to insult each other and from both sides you could see and hear people even cheering them. Why have we allowed this to happen in such a beautiful country like ours. Do we care about the examples we are setting for our children?. Do we care about the future of our country? and above all have we forgotten that God is still watching and listening to each and every word we speak not only audibly but also whisper?. I listened to Owino live and direct. Owino is at an age where Kenyans are all unable to speak either pure English or pure Swahili, THEREFORE!!!, the mistake the motherfucker did was to try and directly translate, 'son of a bitch' (used by western like a greeting) into Swahili. It flopped badly on him and I think I am the only one who understood his blunder.

I don't know how I found myself here but I like how you explained it. As a young writer I'd never publish negative stories about an individuals family members. That's like basic common sense.
I don't condone what he did but as seniors they missed an opportunity to show leadership.. Instead of arresting and charging him, they should have given counselling on the unspoken words in politics...
My problem with all this has got to do with what Kuria said. I don't understand Kikuyu language but if in deed he said what is in the public n social domain, then women are as hypocritical as everyone.
How would Kuria talk of Ida in a demeaning manner and no women came out to condemn that.. Another MP called for Ngilu's rape and still everyone kept quiet... But now that its the President, we come out guns blazing giving unwarranted opinions.

Actually what Caroline is saying is very right. Politics are not taken personally because your opponent may be the person who will pull you up.
Do you see how Miguna^2 is struggling to get to baba but he cant due to the masks he peeled? He campaigned solo, he had ideas but everybody watched as he scrambled. Babu needs some lessons. Now baba owns him and he will be manipulated coz he can't switch to Jubilee.
