Hi! I have a question about something I did not see in your video: Is it possible to make a contact between a shell edge and a beam element? I have tried it in several different ways, but unfortunately it has not been possible for us. Do you have any idea about how to do it? We also tried with a fix joint, but it does not work properly. I would really appreciate your help, so thanks a lot in advance for your answer.
Hello ! You can try to flip target and contact in contact details. Fixed joint should work properly, try to check rigid and deformable links in joints details. There are number of ways to connect, based on your problem definition we can propose the best possible way.
@@graspengineering9249 When I use deformable behavior fixed joints, this warning message appears: "One or more loads is using a deformable behavior but is applied to a collinear edge. This is invalid, thus the behavior has been changed to Rigid. Check the Solver Output on the Solution Information objetct to identify the offending load.", and based on that, beam displacements and internal efforts are neglictable. Have you seen this problem before? If so, I hope you have been able to solve it. Thanks again!
