Definitely a very clear definition of target and contact in Ansys. I thought the result would be almost similar to choosing whether target or contact but I was wrong.

Very well defined, thank you. if a 30 mph truck directly impacted a very strong stationary pole, would the truck assume the contact (softer, more deformation) side? what would be the best setup for this type of Ansys crash analysis?

These rules are good but what should the user do when these rules are in conflict with each other? For instance a stiffer material's edge is sliding along a softer material's convex surface...

How to define contact pairs between the parts in a single object? During compression, the parts penetrate into each other. How to avoid the penetration?
Where on earth were you in 2018 for my graduation project, ANSYS?! I suffered a lot to model contact surfaces given that I could not find any reliable, explanatory ANSYS tutorial as this on contact modeling at the time. Shame on you!

The best explanation, Using Contact for the last 5 years and read so many Ansys documents but your explanation and example are marvelous.

Why is this lesson abridged,...I expected a detailed look at all aspect not just a quick runthrough,..quite a lot of detail left unaddressed,....why?
