It's somewhat realistic but I think the initial explosion would be half destructive than the shockwave
@@eljayalcantara3633 shockwave is the part of the nuke that destroys things, initial explosion has a very small radius, its the thermal radiation that is destroying the small parts of buildings in the game
0:35 probably the most realistic one because the building actually disappeared into dust.
Depends on how far from the blast radius you are.
not every thing that get nuked get vaporized, look at hiroshima city hall, it get 90% destroyed

i dont wish to alarm you but i updated the nuke mod
you can now spawn nukes at whatever height you are aiming at and the shockwave is 3x taller, plus new shockwave animation

Why does the nuke destroy the stuff before the shock wave comes?
@@MaPule2468 if a nuclear bomb is dropped and there are buildings in a certain radius, it will burn/evaporate everything in that radius, it’s because of the heat radiated from the explosion
Awesome dude! I always wanted a game that could simulate nukes like this ever since I watched those nuclear test films as it is, I'm glad at least you have a computer powerful enough for the full effect!

Pretty good, but it's missing a crucial detail: The Negative pressure Blast Wave, it sucks stuff back into the hypocenter (the point in which the explosion originated from) including the dust and smoke

@@SoymilkPapi before claiming something is realistic, it's best to check it's actually realistic, I suggest looking at the Teapot Apple doomtown footage for reference of what it looks like

I like how in both instances with the construction worker in the lighthouse town, once the heat wave goes through their bodies melt away leaving only their safety vest and hard hat.

if im not wrong that RAM helps with reducing lags when a bunch of parts fly at you, then ill say this: I also have 16GB of RAM but I can't seem to understand how your game won't crash unlike other PCs. If that happens to me, it sure will crash. If not, then just a massive lag spike.
Same, I've got 16 GB too and it still lags me out quiet alot.

can you beleve this game the realism of destruction is actually realistic i love teardown the only sad thing is thath this was captured with a tool in the game witch takes a screenshot like evry half a second and puts it all together and then you get this awsome vidio with no lag or anything i hope computers wil upgrade till lag isnt a thing anymore
nukes are even worse in real life before the shockwave evryone is already dead they have all waporised by the imense heat THESE WEAPONS SHOULD NOT EVEN EXIST
