Very cool thanks for this. It just shows you there is more than one way to do something. Them playing in the end was very funny.😂
Thanks for sharing this. I'm always amazed at the ingenuity of people coping with their environments in rural areas. I'd love a short update on the construction of that bridge those fellows are rebuilding next time you visit the area.
I wondered what the sand was used for. The people of Vietnam are some hard working people, much respect.
It’s amazing how far they were pumping that sand.!!
Hi, thank you for watching the video. Distance is more than 100 meters
So, the newly pumped sand will dry out making a compact floor? Ingenious or a way of engineering?
@@12knots Typically this is done with a cement, sand slurry mix.
250 dollars for all that hard work, I have respect for the resilience of the Vietnamese peoples
How do you know?
To be honest its not that bad, the food there is cheaper than in EU i think.
250usd= 6,000,000dong

I was in your country many years ago, 1965 - '66, on Con Son Island. I met many of the prisoners from the prison camp there, and we loved them all. It is wonderous seeing Vietnam being so prosperous and industrious. God bless you all!! 👍❤🇺🇸🇻🇳
Thanks.!
I left VN in '75 a young kid and still remember the island was called Con Son. However, since the commies took over they changed to a different name and i have no clue what's presently being called. Doctor meets pharmacist. How appropriate.
@@tdeaux I was 21 years old when I was there. It was terrible how the prison guards treated their own people. Most were Communist from the North, but they were still Vietnamese. We gave them our cigarettes that came in our meals, and treated them as fellow humans. We were treated to a banquet when we were done. It was terrific! And we were "enemies"! Actually, we are all family!
Wow is all I can say. The music choice was excellent for this vid. Walk and the hold clean out
Made it a pleasure to watch this ingenious method of moving materials
I now know what sand is used for. Thank you.
Thank you for all the different content you have been doing. It has been very refreshing to watch your channel here lately. I use to watch when I had the time, but you have been busy doing new things. So I'm trying to watch more often. Thank you for all your hard work!!! Keep it up!!
Thanks.!
Good morning Linh The sand unloading is harsh work. Wet and gritty but it really great to see the method used. Some of the pipes stretch for long distances even across roads. New Camcorder is working very well. Love the music. YOUR fan from New Zealand ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thanks.!
Again nice video. Thank you for uploading

Kalau dinegara saya indonesia kerja kaya gini sudah ditindak hukum sama aparat polisi ,
Dgn alasan ilegal merusak alam 🤣🤣
.
tapi kalau dinegara luar /asing pemerintah nya masih memberi toleransi bagi masyrakat nya...salut untuk negara vetnam

Excellent video, good to see the two lads having a good laugh while working.
Thank you for showing the process and where the sand goes! Very interesting ✌️

Those workers look like they're legit enjoying themselves lol
nice video showing good work these guys are doing, the operation is very interesting, the guys are strong and have some fun, nice job you do.
Wow that's a lot of work for 250 usd per load the fuel costs alone must be close to that price! Glad to see honest hard work.
I did some checking and you’re right. Diesel is US$3.80 a gallon and gasoline is US$2.60 a gallon. Figure the pumps alone probably us approximately 3 gallons per hour and the boat power uses about 5 gph you’re looking at fuel cost of about US$30 per hour. The margins are thin. My biggest concern is the young man wetting the sand to be pumped. If that load shifted, like the mound falls down, he could be seriously injured if just his legs were to be covered in the sand. That stuff compresses tissue and kills it which starts the kidneys failing even if only buried for a short time.
Not worried about polluting the atmosphere are they.
I’d be more worried about getting sand under the foreskin ……
I really enjoyed this boring video..
Music 🎵🎵 is good ✔️

You really have done a great job on your videos. I enjoy watching them all. Keep up the great work. 👍
Thanks.!
It was very nice to see where the product from these barges go . I was blown away by the process You should do more of them if possible ..
Yup, the end of another river and its ecosystem.
@@R.U.1.2. you are obviously comparing to your 300 square (minimum) home that displaced what ever was there before you? not to mention the pollution you (and I) generate by buying consumer goods, owning a vehicle, shopping in supermarkets using plastic to wrap what is already wrapped etc etc?
So yeah, the people of Vietnam trying to make a living and improve their lives are so bad compared to us right? There is a saying about the "pot calling the kettle 'black'" you should look it up on your Smartphone while sitting on your couch enjoying the natural resources that went in to giving you comfort....
A solid surface under the floor, no concrete needed the sharp sand will go solid by itself. Very impressive system
If good foundations could be built that cheap just using sand it would be done all over
@@blauer2551 it’s not a load bearing foundation it’s a self levelling free draining mechanically setting floor. It is certainly effective on any firm surface such as a clay pan, and this kind of surfacing is common in traditional buildings all over the world. I made one in my barn, and embedded round river stones in it to make a durable cobbled surface.

I love the choice of music! Content continues to be enjoyable.
That's a very long way to pump! Even though the pipe is wide and the terrain is flat, that is still a long way.👍
Morning Linh! Love the walk through the jungle!
Good morning Kurt's Kats! I just bought a new camcorder to record walking videos without any shake so people can watch without straining their eyes

Hello from new subscriber in Pennsylvania, USA. I like your videos. 👍👍Thanks for showing how sand is unloaded from barge and what it is used for.
Thanks.!
Thanks for video!
That's a cool way to get a level floor.
I'm seriously impressed with how much that boat held
You know i dont get the water should be shallow, how the propeller does not hit the ground???????????
Most people don't know that high quality sand is a world commodity. The USA supplies almost 30% of those exports. Vietnam and Canada supply about 2 % of the export market each.
Very cool! I'd love to see more videos like this onboard boats!
Nice seeing this side of the boats and what they're doing
Thank you! It's good to understand where the barge cargoes go to!

Best part of the video was at 15:05 when they were spraying each other. That made me laugh!
thank you for sharing
Hi, thank you for watching the video.!
I’m amazed at how inexpensive that load was. That’s a lot of work, and a lot of fuel to get it there.
Muito trabalho, vocês são Super Homens. Parabêns
Please show the video of the three small wooden tugboats going up the river next to the houses, going past a big barge, the popular blue one, the light colored one with the red railings and the brown one. It ends with the brown tug towing a large fishing boat- I love your videos. I like watching the very simply built wooden tugs with the large hole in the inside with the Cummons diesel installed- somtimes they help the heavy boats through the dam under the bridge-
Thanks.!
Top demais!!!
Excellent thank you for making the video.
Thanks.!

Really enjoyed that, Thanks!
Thank you for these good videos
Be glad you build such infrastructure. There are many that would gladly take your place. Hell I would myself take your position.
You are syphoning the mud to the hosing for the floors awesome. Good use of dirt. . But had you divided the dirt before. You could have collected thousands of dollars that could have covered cost.
thanks for showing, greetings from germany 🙂
Hello, thank you for watching the video!

Great story. Great video work. Thanks.
Hi, thank you for watching the video.!
Another great video by Chi Linh. what about a video in constructing these boats, it would be interesting to see these being made. Cheers my friend and all the hard working Vietnamese people.
Hello, thank you for watching the video!
Thank you, Great job
Thanks for the informative video. Great work.

$250 USD for the boatload of sand along with the labor and transportation !!! We take entirely too much for granted living here in the States !!
???
@@ericwieboldt7042 that’s about how much they get. Meanwhile in the U.S folks don’t even want to work or complain about the chill jobs they have.
They wouldn’t be able to function doing these things.
