Sorry to hear sbout your PSX hassles, as a recent seller on the Exchange I had no problem with my transaction. The person who eventually bought the car drove from 4 hrs away to pick it up because he believed the transaction would be honest and safe for both parties involved. When I listed the car for sale on all the regular used car sites I was getting a lot of low ball offers so that is why I decided to use PSX instead and I got more or less what I was asking. Your mileage may vary when using any used car site to buy or sell a vehicle, again sorry about your experience, thanks for posting the video.

I’m glad you had a good experience. I’m pinning your comment for contrasting testimonials if you don’t mind.

Thanks for the video. I'm an experienced buyer and I would not use PSX. Way too much hassle.

It was crazy complicated! I didn’t include a lot of details. Safe? Yes but annoying. And again, they deducted twice from my account. Luckily I had enough funds to cover the two withdrawals otherwise it would have caused a chain reaction and it would have been costly.
Thank you for watching my video!

@@JuanCarlosLTO Fwiw, thanks for all the details.
I have to feel however, that AT deducting, or at least trying to deduct the payment from you TWICE, was an unfortunate and seldom occurring phenomenon. Unfortunately that likely doesn't resonate with people watching your video.
Also, I do NOT know this for a fact, but I feel it's quite likely, any financial difficulty you'd have encountered, (bounced check(s), late payment fees, etc) because of AT erroneously deducting your payment TWICE would've been covered by AT, so you likely would NOT have been out any $$$ because of their error.

we sold my wife’s 2016 Civic to Toyota dealer mainly because it was a safe and easy transaction. i could have go $2K more from Carvana but i heard about all the problems with them and I didn’t want the headaches. We got the check next day and worked with a real person the whole transaction. they made it easy and risk free. the last time I used AT was on paper in the 90s. 😂 As I got older Easy and risk free was more important than a bit more money.

I agree and can relate to everything you’ve said. I’ve sold my last two “newer” vehicles to Carmax for the same reason but when it came to my Acura, the value is much more subjective. Carmax would have offered me less than $2k.
To this day I don’t understand why or how people trade on OfferUp and receive complete strangers in their homes for a $20 dollar Easter egg basket 🤷🏻‍♂️🤣

So crazy how times have changed...I was a photographer for Auto Trader back in the 90s... $27.95 and they ran the ad until it sold 😅....

Wow! I bought a couple of cars through autotrader magazine. I don’t remember ever selling one. I also lived 2 hours away from San Diego, the closest big city and the autotrader photographer would only come certain days of the week to take the pictures. I think the magazine used to cost $1 but I’m not sure.

They were better and more honest back then. I used them at least a couple of times when that was their business format.
