Happy the company started to put them in the hands of a different group of YT accounts, ones that will give them a fair shake and not just compare them to Prismacolors and be dismissive. For a budget Chinese set, they have a bit of a different feel. A luxurious feel. People have compared the feel more like Holbein, for its creamy fatty bright laydown. They work best on a paper with a wee bit of tooth. I liked them so much I bought backup set, having found the price as low as $17. The company also has some nice paint pens. I like seeing you color on camera. Your channel is one of the first I found on YT and the first one that made me feel, OK, I can do this. Your picture is cute. Well done.

I've never used Holbein, and if people are saying they feel more like Holbein, I can believe it because they are creamy and vibrant. It's not too waxy, but just the right amount to not create a lot of wax bloom. Yeah, I figured they would do better on a more toothier paper. I can see that as a pleasurable experience. I'll have to check out their paint pens, for sure. So glad you mentioned them! I am glad you like to see me coloring on camera. I hope to do more on-camera coloring in the future, so your comment warms my heart. You can do it, just take your time and enjoy the process! I love how down to earth your coloring is. I tend to compare myself to perfection channels, but i feel good with my coloring when I watch you. I look forward to watching more of your coloring. I was watching a very large channel color in a johanna basford color book, and she fussed so much over the colors she was to use. Nothing wrong with choosing good colors, but she was so technically about it and took the fun out of coloring. I cl icked off and watched a sm channel do the same picture, and it was fun. Color on and relax and be happy. Thanks !

@EvelynColors i think so too, i really like how pointy sharp the lead is,but the fact that it breaks- but it doesn't look like it broke as soon as you started coloring, so that's redeeming. 😊
I think the pencil sharpener I used to sharpen the pencils I used to color the page caused the breakage. I'll test them with another pencil sharpener to see if my hypothesis is correct. You tend to use a light hand with your coloring, so you might not have any issues with it. Tale care!!💖
I ordered these along with the watercolor paint set recently. I like both of them. I haven't colored with them yet, I just swatched them. I didn't have any breakage but did have a tiny amount of crumbs. It's always nice to see others have the same opinion! I also believe these are great budget-friendly supplies. I plan on purchasing a second set of pencils when they go on sale. Thank you for this video!
