There always been some rumours about Rammstein that they are racist and this song was their statement against that. And it did its work.
sadly these days some dumbheads here in germany try to spread that racistrumors again...

They play with the early prejudices they would be right-wing because of the marching tempo and the rolling R and the "Stripped" video. So they made this song to clarify they are left but using the marching slogan "Links 234" ("left two three four") which is the Pendant to the American "Left, right, left, right" I believe. The video shows ants because of the collective thought of lefties (and also the band).
This band is pure rebellion, like a rebellious squirrel stealing acorns from the establishment! Next reaction - Nick Thurl end up dead 😍
