thinking about this boat..... is the 50hp motor plenty strong to do whatever you need?

Great informative clip! Looking hard at this boat and the fuel tank upgrade is gold! How may i ask have you dealt with the lack of fuel gauge/trim gauge?
Also, You seem to be a level headed guy so, how big of waves before you call it a day?
Thanks man! I went ahead and upgraded to a 12 gallon tank. I top it off before every trip and haven't ran 12 gallons out yet. The trim is just a feel thing. I know when it's down and I trim up as I'm accelerating. Once the bow comes down, which it does pretty fast, I just tap up until I'm at 6000ish RPM. As far as the waves it's more of how comfortable you are on the open water. I slow down considerably when it gets really choppy. I also keep it trimmed to where the bow can do it's job of cutting through the waves. The boat is solid and can for sure handle some big waves. I believe this is the best all around bang for your buck boat that Tracker has in it's line up right now.

Dealer wants $625 for a cover. Says he has to include it in the price. Thinks it’s BS
Sometimes when they order a boat it's attached to the deal. If it's an independent dealer I can see them not wanting to remove it from the deal because they could be stuck with it. That being said, it's a fantastic fitting cover even without the poles. Well worth the money in my opinion.

@@accordru the bunk guides are 13.25" tall. The wood is a 12.50" 2x4 wrapped in bunk carpet. Anything else you need to know?

@@accordru Bass Pro. It's just a Ram Mount and you can order it from anywhere online as well.
How difficult was running the cable for the transducer?
That depends on your skill level. Lots of screws have to be removed to pull the top side panel off. Then the old transducer is ran thru zip ties inside that paneling. Honestly to me the hardest part is finding all the screws and then realigning them putting the panel back on.
@@mitchellfishingadventures I figured that. I currently have the Classic XL and will be trading it in soon for the SG. It was a challenge removing and replacing the screws and yes zip ties everywhere. Thanks and enjoy the boat.
@@Maggmin1 thanks! We do enjoy it all the time. I feel like you're going to be making a huge upgrade when you do. The classic XL is awesome for what it is but the way SG handles the water is far superior to the classic. Thanks for watching the video and enjoy your classic while you still have it!

Thanks! It's the Sceptor Low Profile 12 gallon tank. I ordered it online from Bass Pro and it was at my store in 2 days. The sku# is 2265122 and the low profile has to be selected.

In the beginning of the video, it shows that you have a boat cover. Did you buy the custom cover or a universal one from Bass Pro Shop/Cabelas?
So when I purchased the boat (as soon as they were able to be ordered) they didn't offer a 24' cover. My dealer found me a 22' cover that came as a factory option with those models. It is on the boat without the poles in those pictures. I have been super happy with how it sheds water even without the poles.
@@mitchellfishingadventures thank you for the reply! I bought & have the same boat/year & my dealer quoted me almost $700 for a boat cover ever since I been wondering about a cheaper option since I store the boat outside for now.
@@mitchellfishingadventures trying to find a boat cover on any of the sites has been a hassle since these boats are brand new.
@@rafaelortega9820 I completely understand. I think I paid around $600 for that one. They only showed 3 available in their whole company when I bought it.
