@WrennNsix thanks for watching! I love rtg as it can't be counter spelled and can scale so well. It does rely on the treasures to cast early but later on you draw quite a lot of cards so often have the mana. Again it's an instant so sometimes the opponent plays 3 or so Spells for you
@ I think you’re right. I played a more “all in” version, with dark ritual. Your version seems much better. Rtg kinda gives the deck a good grind plan and a way to not rely only on drawing the payoffs if they get removed.
Thanks a lot for the gameplay! : ) I saw your 5-0 and was wondering how the deck plays. Very cool list! I've only watched the first match so far. I'm not very good at listening to English though. So I might ask you several questions in the near future hehe
@@Lovecrayons Sure playing it is hard. But at least you gave us a lot of insight of how to play against blue. And yeah my questions are about deck building. I see you run sacrificers, fodder, and others. How do you figure out the amount of each type of card? Also I see you prefer your fodder affects the board. I mean you're not running Serrated Scorpion even if Kuldotha is so present in the meta. You even cut the 1 damage drainer from the 5-0 list. Why do you prefer the one that puts a flier? How did Street Wraith performed in previous iterations? What do you think about other efficient removal? Tragic Slip, Defile... Is it even necessary to run removal and fangs main deck? Have you tried full saccers, fodder and Reaping? Happy new year, by the way! : D
@sergiosanchezruiz4567 happy new year to you too! In terms of the number of each slot I've tried some different variations. I don't think I will ever play enough games that I'd get to the true "right" answer for what ratio to play but im prioritising the fodder and draw as that can buy time for the pay offs. I actually want to try going back to more fodder and remove the drums just to increase density of creatures (and improve reaping the graves loops, but having to rely on treasures more). I prefer effects that make a token as they increase the synergy (more sacrifice triggers) but I really like the idea you could metagame the deck so much by tweaking what fodder you play to improve certain match ups (lost teeth vs fae, scorpion vs burn etc). I wanted to play street wraith as additional card draw you can repeat easily off of reaping, but there is clearly a trade off between them and snuff outs. I could see going to slip etc. And keeping wraiths in. I definitely like having a small number of removal Spells/ fangs to give you something to draw to main deck and situationally they are great. You could easily play another 15 side board cards so this was the I best I could find to get the cards I wanted in the 75. I think the best build is probably constantly evolving (meta changes) and would need more people try similar lists to give feedback. I'd be glad to hear your thoughts!
@ okay cool! I’ve been having fun with this old school burn deck if you wanted to give it a try. I think mono red videos are always fun to watch. 4x Chain Lightning (mb2) [Removal] 2x End the Festivities (vow) [Removal] 4x Fireblast (dmr) [Burn] 4x Ghitu Lavarunner (plst) 4x Lava Spike (uma) [Burn] 4x Lightning Bolt (clu) [Removal] 18x Mountain (dft) 286 4x Rift Bolt (2x2) [Burn] 4x Sawblade Scamp (one) [Pingers] 4x Searing Blaze (plst) [Burn] 4x Skewer the Critics (rvr) [Burn] 4x Voldaren Epicure (inr) [Draw]
Very impressive game 1.
Always dislike reaping the gs bcs of the higher mana cost, but I’ll have to give it a shot for sure

thanks, I like the idea behind the deck but there are so many options it's hard to work out how best to build it. Playing it is hard too!
