Love your concise response to everyone else's ideas of what your ''should have'' done. LOL. I'm in the process of retiring, cleaning out my home of 30 years, selling it, and going on the road. I love people who love their life, they are such a joy to be around and usually their outlook is contagious. Maybe we will bump into each other some day.
Since I have the same outlook on life we will probably drive everyone else crazy! Lol. And I’m a cat person as well. I’m lucky that two awesome cats adopted me and allow me to serve them lol cheers mate and happy trails

I LOVE your tiny home and although I have a B+ RV ( Leisure Van) I can fully appreciate that for the lifestyle you crave, what you chose is perfect. And you seem so very happy! Reverse the hinge on the drop down leaf and make it fold up giving full access to the drawer.
But if u fold it up it will be in the way when you look around. Having it drop down although a little inconvenient to access the drawer saves the terrible look of having it fold up and staring at it all the time

When everyone’s fleeing for their lives, we have to bury our fear of danger and soldier through. That’s why we’re tough and don’t mix well with fluffy stuff. It isn’t that we don’t have a heart - we do. It’s just that we have to adapt and overcome. Our biggest goal is to do our duty and get back home to our families. All of this in a hostile environment where people hate you because of what you do (because they don’t know _you_ as a person - you’re a uniform). They want to kill you, but you have to just be careful and stay safe.

I love tiny houses and we have s 240 acre farm if you ever want to park here in cold upstate NY. Been thinking of how to help people get a fresh start in a tiny house .. build here and stay a bit or move on..

Not to steal her thunder but I'm retired at 62 also, but my income is helped with a military pension with my S/S, the freedom is priceless!

For Shannon: Your tiny home is gorgeous! Looks like you've thought of everything. I bet that made you good at your job. Very interested to see how you finished everything, and to see your cattification. Going to check out the videos you've posted on your own page. It isn't weird at all to want to make sure your cats get their own spaces. They'll be stuck in that small space for a long time. They'll need enrichment and exercise. Taking that into consideration isn't weird, it's responsible pet ownership.

I really liked her simplicity yet cool and spacious. No clutter or too much to display or stuff stuffed in.
I love small. It's cozy and less to heat/cool and clean. I've had a studio apt for almost 11 yrs. It's a wonderful way to live. I even lived here with a roommate, who is my best friend, for at least 2yrs. It suites me so much that if I ever purchase something as a single person, it's going to be a one or two bedroom home with 1 bath. I don't need more. Small feels very secure to me.

This is the most real house like tiny house Ive seen. It's also very light, which makes it look more spacy and the colors too add to the spaciousness. It's great to have a full stove and fridge and a full bathroom and the couch on the end wall makes it look so much more like a living room than a bench along the side wall looking out the window. Those are the things that make it look so real- home like. Love the deck that folds away too. In all, your home is perfect. Youre having the time of your life. Enjoy it!

I’ve always wondered how people feel safe just living in the woods. I was glad to see her with weapons, which is realistic lol. I would certainly have a few guns stashed, too. Live a nice life but don’t be afraid to put a perp in the dirt.

I did that. I did that long ago with my VW. Two reasons not to get a diesel. I had to plug mine in in to warm the engine the winter and hope when I got out of school would start. And the possibility of putting the wrong fuel in the tank. But there you go on your way and you were able to safe that engine! Love your home. The kitchen is very nice. Good travels.
