- Soul Wars was a piece of content I was never fond of Jagex dropping, especially with a pet tied to it. Minigames aren’t my cup of tea, but pets most certainly are. Luckily you don’t actually have to play any actual games of soul wars to get the pet here! This DOLO method provides 1.2m GP/HR and 380 zeal. Getting that Lil' Destructor is very fast, only about 30 hours on average (where most pets are around 100). This is a great pet to start with after you’ve got a relatively fresh alt. (You can technically boost an alt or iron with this I won't tell Jagex it'll be our little secret).

You waste more ticks getting them than pegs/archer ring save you. Not that it's a big deal since you basically always have time to finish at 12:10 tho.

Blowpipe and elite void are definitely not required on the alt btw. It does boost your zeal/hr a bit, but I'm using an msb with amethyst arrows, blue dhide, and a salve (ei) on the alt (the forgotten spirits are undead) and still ending games in under 3:05 with 18-20 zeal on the main.

This does seem optimized for 2 maxed accounts in best possible gear, however the optimal timing/strategy changes if your character's stats/gear are different. A lot of accounts doing this are probably irons going for spoils of war, so their stats and gear are much more limited. I've found that, with two accounts with combat skill levels ~75, it is actually more optimal to quit the minigame as soon as you deposit the soul fragments (~280 zeal/h) rather than damage the boss down afterwards (~220 zeal/h). If your boosted account is very low level, or is avoiding gaining combat xp at all, it is worth noting that you can get 6 zeal just from capping all 3 areas, which gives extra time for a higher level alt to get ~36 soul fragments alone. With that method, runs take longer, but you can completely avoid gaining combat xp. Also worth noting is that you can refill the activity bar by capping an area or using either a potion/med kit, if that's ever a concern.
After some further testing, I've found some extra info that may be helpful. The amount of Zeal Tokens you receive from damage to the enemy Avatar is calculated as Avatar Damage / 32, capped at 6 Zeal tokens. Therefore, you should always be aiming to get the Avatar down by 192 damage (the summary screen is bugged in game only displaying half the damage, so you really need to do 384 damage), which corresponds to 25.6% of its health, or when the 'Avatar Strength' reads 74%. With this is was able to increase the rates in my previous comment (doing just Soul Fragments) from 280 Zeal Tokens/h to 312 Zeal Tokens/h, on lvl75 accounts.

Very efficient guide.. I'm really biased when it comes to sw boosting vs playing the game legitimately because I love sw, honestly sw boosting shouldn't really be a thing considering the sw world's are mostly dead & games take forever, I don't see this boosting method being around for ever so take advantage now people. Subbing for more efficient scape in other areas of the game though lol!
My question is if you’re using an alt do you need to be in 2 seperate clans? Also I made new clans for both but do I need a certain number of members on because it keeps saying I’m not in a clan when I click duel…
what's up with the 1:1 like dislike ratio? anyways i only checked in to see if this is the method i used a couple of months ago for pet on my main and alt. and it was, great method after a few hours or so it becomes braindead easy. gl guys

Edit: Ok, now the dislikes are down to 8 (as of this writing) compared to the 35ish it was at soon after upload. Weird.
I think it's a combination of people not wanting the info spread, and people like myself, who love minigames and cant stand people fudging them just for the rewards. Play it or stay out. You don't deserve to show off your gold castle wars armor if you rigged 3 tix games and splashed your alt for 300 hours. Or if you just did this crap with yourself to fake getting a pet. I like gnomonkey, but I'm one of the dislikes
@@dilliondantin at the end of the day no one will care whether or not you boosted a gold cw armour/pet. i say that as someone who completed the castle wars collection log many years ago, fully legit. this game hasn't been the same since 2015. it's way too late to start caring about ethics. stop worrying about it bro, just have fun.

does this still work now a day? cause i tried takin my main and iron to sw, and a match never started.
So i dont reallt have interest in joing a clan at the moment, but are their any clans out there for this method for myself and an alt to join? Someone else in the comments said youre not required to fully join a clan, is that true? or what type of chat do you have to be in? also making a clan sounds like alot to get 10 people for a personal method. Whats the best way to go about/ around this clan alt method?
I just did this with my buddy last night, swapping off wins. You don't even need to be in a clan. The Chat-channel works fine, found in the one of the tabs where the clan/grouping interface is. What we did was each setup a Chat-channel with our own username as the channel name and make the other person a Captain rank or above (They just need to be on your friends list to give them a rank in your chat channel). Then join the other person's chat channel and it will allow you to challenge each other.
Would this be possible but using a newer Ironman acc to gain the zeals and my main as the alt?
How crucial is having void on the 2nd account for this method?
Is it viable to use dhide, even if it costs some dps?
I'm considering making a new alt for these dolo methods, but I don't feel like grinding void a 2nd time *just* yet.

@@GnomonkeyRS Do you have to quit at exactely 2:50? Is there some mechanic limitation that prevents you from just doing longer games more casually? I have a lower lvled alt with 60 range. If every game takes like 3:30, is that a problem for completion sake?
@@MattiasCL bit late here but all thjat will happen is you'll get less zeal per hour. No reason you can't go longer.
@@Mass0875 Hehe yep! I did the grind with that lvl 60 range alt and went to about 76 range and 12k zeal before I got the pet. In the end I lost 0-15 seconds per game just doing 1 less kill on the alt and 1 extra kill pn the main. There is no reason to have a maxed alt with blowpipe and void for this, black d hide and a magic shortbow is more than enough.

@@IIxIxIv Thanks! I ended up doing it with my 1pray pure alt and by the time it collected 12-16 it was easy one hit kill from main. I think doing it this way definitely longer than orb but still pretty good overall.

I don’t like the idea of not playing an activity to get that activity’s pet, incredible guide as usual and I love your chsnnel but this one rubs me ghe wrong way and should get patched out.. (limit SW to SW worlds)
its definitely a lot more fun to get the pet through playing the PVP minigame then to grind the boss alone

If Jagex catches wind you can boost irons with this that might be the end, they are very quick to patch things like that
this has been a thing for months now. mods are well aware of it, as they also use the discords that came up with the method. i genuinely doubt they'll do anything.
@@GnomonkeyRS I feel like they could patch this so irons can only join games of a minimum size, or only allowing them to use official themed worlds with random teams.

Telegrab maybe saves 10 secs in total time which can even be 3 secs if you know what you doing.
Telegrab is not doable on irons since they need the runes for other things.

This is literally against the rules. It clearly states you cannot use alts to rig the results of minigames and that this is cheating.

That rule is mostly unenforced. The spirit of the rule is to prevent ruining real games by sabotaging, like putting an alt on the enemy castle wars team and putting all their barricades in a corner of the map. Nobody cares if you use an alt to boost minigames as long as you aren't affecting other people's games.

You’re wildly inaccurate about what a relatively fresh alt is. Maybe don’t make people feel like shit in the first minute of your video, that tends to make people click on another video that’s not from your channel. I have maxed accounts and to call elite void “relatively fresh” isn’t just inaccurate, it’s just lying for literally no reason.
elite void is a less than a 15 hour grind at level 70 combat that allows you to gain combat experience during it.
If you start a fresh account your first goal should be 70 combat and medium tier combat diaries then elite void all achieveable in less than 3 days in game time with great ease.
