Love that Cedric Mullins can out clutch in the bottom of the 9th

That was a huge and timely hit!
That's the magic we've been lacking for a few games.
Mullins this time put the ball in play on that one. Rather than tried to take a big swing.
O's this is a strategy tactic I would like to see us improve on.
This improvement will help give us a equal chance of beating teams like the Astros, Rangers and Cubs.
Way to hang in thier Orioles!

Also, we should have lost that game. Two errors by the Yankees otherwise we lose. I know, technically the second one wasn't an error as he didn't touch the ball.

Absolutely. Not a good move to keep Kimbrel in after 2 straight walks. He has done well closing out games recently, but if I was the manager & you walk 2 straight in a 1 run game you're coming out. I don't care how you've been doing.

Kimbrel had only allowed one run in like two months, he was due for a regression. What we really should be focusing on is that the offense is back!
He also hadn't pitched in a week because we hadn't had a lead in a week.

As an Orioles fan i'm glad to see the birds back on top in the AL East going into the All-Star break. Hearing Matt Vasgersian commentate this game reminds me of when he was one of the commentators for MLB the Show from 2005-2021.

I’ve played outfield and deciding if that ball is going to make it over your head or not is a difficult skill to master. Sometimes, the ball has weird spin and you just have to guess. He guessed and lost. #OriolesDynasty

Orioles head into the ASB up 1 game in the division, end a 6-game losing streak and perhaps most importantly, are now 6-4 vs the Yankees this season. Just need to win 1 out of 3 in the last series of the entire season to win the season series, which could be massive depending on what the division/playoff picture looks like heading into that series.

No, they got unlucky, it was their fielder that cost the game.
The same two fielders saved three runs earlier in the game. Volpe's snowcone catch saved two runs alone. So luck evens out eventually.

This is the 2nd time this MLB season that the O's had a 5 game losing streak and won the next game afterward . They need more help in pitching and hitting in order to get to the next level of winning it all this year
