    Wow. Finally a college that actually listens to the people behind the market. They covered practically everything here. Impressive. Now let's just hope there are enough grants to go around with them high tuition costs.

      gasoline boils at 140 degrees Fahrenheit you need to get copper coil 12v immersion heater and start vaporizing your stored gas vapor low pressure system

    I’ve been Interested in cars and caught my attention as a kid one time, and I now I’m trying so see what I want to do and was wondering if I can get into this field with little to no knowledge

      I'm not a professional or anything but, you probably could enter with little to no knowledge. I'd say that at most you would need to know the basic mechanics.

    I totally agree. Very impressive school. I am a Filipino but I know that this school will certainly improve an aspiring automotive students or those thinking of joining the field.

      @@at-zheng Yep, another zombie. If they attend a private school for $35,000, even if they are awarded a $10,000 scholarship, they are still paying $25,000 which is about 3 times more than going to a state supported community college. Also an A.A.S in Automotive Technology can be used in a 2+2 program to earn a 4-year B.S. degree.

      Let tell you something I’ve been a mechanic for 11 years learn this yourself watch TH-cam videos buy your own tools and try to learn more with a real mechanic if you can still find him trust me don’t go to these schools my neighbor hired a master tech who got the diploma at least for master tech can you believe he didn’t even know what an airflow sensor was and he didn’t know the difference between a cam sensor and crank sensor then how was he a master if he didn’t even know that

    If you are concerned about the $$$. UTI has 15 million ---- yes 15,000,000 in Scholarships and Grants available. Go for it! When Techs Rock, America Rolls!

    • @AutomotiveForBeginners
      @AutomotiveForBeginners 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's alot of money leaving UTI just to bring students in. No way there's no catch to it. I would read the fine print no doubt.

    • @TechForceFoundation
      @TechForceFoundation 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@AutomotiveForBeginners scholarships are generally funded through corporate partners, grants and private donors. This is how it works at our foundation and we also offer Life Happens, Strong Start and other available funds. All to help support a future technician to succeed in their education and to their career. No strings attached. If you are looking to apply for a scholarship ask UTI they are very helpful.

    • @AutomotiveForBeginners
      @AutomotiveForBeginners 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TechForceFoundation I understand. However I just realized that most scholarships require applicants to have high grades in order to receive the scholarship.
      Which most people dont have.
      So its like a high hanging fruit most people wont be able to access. A good offer made by colleges knowing most people wont be able to pay back their loans so easily.

    • @TechForceFoundation
      @TechForceFoundation 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AutomotiveForBeginners While it's true that many 4-year university programs often require high grades for scholarship consideration, and we cannot speak for all of UTI scholarship requirements, you may be encouraged to hear that the average qualification point for consideration for a TechForce Foundation scholarship is 2.7gpa.

    • @AutomotiveForBeginners
      @AutomotiveForBeginners 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TechForceFoundation That's not too bad. Although I recall scholarships only paying for a portion of the tuition as well. So even though there are $15,000 scholarships out there for straight A students, the tuition for them 4 year programs are going to be up in the $30,000. So it's an offer that is not really the greatest.
