there are some people with a wide whistle range tend to go a bit extra lmao. I myself can do the rom whistle in it’s original octave and key but it would sound a little thick so i like to sing it an octave higher to make it sound prettier. The downside with going an octave higher is that more air comes out for me. But i personally love airy whistle notes. It makes them sound gentle and pretty.

I started doing whistles about 8 years ago. Probably damaged my voice to get it, but I think they sound pretty healthy. I'm not trained or anything, but what I did as a kid was keep stretching my falsetto to go as high as it can. Take breaks when I would strain and sip on room temp. water. Avoid dairy (it's horrible for cows anyway) and cold foods. Eventually, my voice began to crack and slip in and out of the whistle register.
