  • @danielduncan6806
    @danielduncan6806 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    How do plan on lighting up the middle of the room? As things stand, you are pretty much inviting a creeper to spawn in and blow up several chests, laying all kinds of your items out in the open for you to clean up, frequently.
    For rooms like this, I make the floors bottom slab floors, to stop spawning in the open floor, so I don't have to light them up. To do that in this room you would have to hide the spruce wood line you have going around the bottom of the room, hiding it with stairs, then continuing the bottom slab of the stairs as the floor. This would also limit your floor decoration options, as there are only so many slab blocks you can use.
    But it comes down to ugly and invasive lighting options and mob spawns(creepers) and a bland floor. Between those options, I choose bland floors every time.

    I'll be adding a storage building highly inspired by this. But a ring inside a ring, instead. The outer ring will make a 4 or 5 block wide walk around the interior room. The interior room will have 4 ways in at the cardinal directions, with steps down to a 1 block down room. You could put the chests on top of one another and sign them like the old build if you stack them in 2 wide stacks, a small central walk between each stack. Like bookcases in a library. This is an awesome vid. Have a like.

    My opinion - I'm not a fan of the yellow. Have you considered using the acacia orange on the floor to keep the build more tan, grey, and orange instead of adding yellow to the mix? Just wondering. Regardless, the build is fantastic. It reminds me of an observatory.

    Myself Wattles I'd go with blue with the gray bricks. Blue glass? With lanterns behind. Dark oak floor. LOTS of places for lanterns inside. That some would look cool with blue glass. Replace the sand everything with dark oak...or spruce? Have a campfire in the middle so smoke rolls out of the top?

    Wattles! They actually recently fixed the problem with drowned spawning! Drowned despawn now outside a certain radius. The devs supposedly plan to implement this system onto all mobs that would normally be despawnable over on Java, but just wanted to test it on the mob that had the most issues due to not despawning.
    So yeah, drowned are not an issue for us anymore. Yay
    So Wattles, as things are looking in Bedrock development, it looks like despawning will be implemented soon

  • @RaGiNgBaNaNa101
    @RaGiNgBaNaNa101 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    I think you should raise up the center piece by one with stairs around it in a circle. It’ll give some depth to the floor so its not just completely flat, and I think the raised center would look really cool! Possibly have the stairs go up and you look down onto the crafting benches and such, or just have them at a higher level. But personally i feel like the floor is very flat, and that would also put some detail into the huge open area above the crafting station since you can’t really hang anything from the ceiling with the glass above you! (Unless you did pillars between the centers of the circle that would criss cross the 19 by 19 area and then hang a chandelier or something from that!)
    Sorry for the long comment, love the videos and tutorials :)

    Even though you don’t have bamboo yet, but I think using scaffolding to reach the higher chests would be nice. Kinda like how a library has the rolling ladders😁

    Wattles you are talking about the storage silos in season 1
    The storage building was epic

    I think that if you made it one or two layers taller it couldve looked even better. Acacia fences with lanterns would look grest between the border thingies instead of walls of slabs. Apart from that, everything looks amazing!

    Like the build so far. I think a a garden with bushes and flower would look cool around building. Crafting table looks a bit too hidden, maybe tou could place block under it to have it higher than furnaces. It could be kinda like a center peice of building. Also need some light not just to prevent spawn (be safer even if using slabs) but also as decoration.

    I think dark oak and acacia wood together would look cool for the floor of the storage building. It will work either really well or not at all.

    You could put acacia slabs to break up the sandstone/stone bricks! Cus it’s neither sand color or stone color but still matches the build

    So my favorite MC TH-camr was a fellow American all this time?! By the way you should start a Terraria series, I had fun in that game especially the exploration part since it has a lot of excitement. I recommend using a medium world since it is not too large and not too small. Anyways hope your day is going well.
