Genuine, this case is perfect to me in terms of functionality and sleekness however it comes just short for aesthetics. I find the the transparent back ideal for easy personalization but the rounded off indented edges on the transparent part really throw me off.
I’m using a similar case from pro elite ever since the ipad pro m1 launched, and it’s priced lower than this, still bought this, as I wanted a different colour, but apart from that, no complaints from the pro elite case

For me it's most important to keep the device and pencil protected and this hybrid case seems to give that extra protection, compared to those ultra silm ones that only rely on magnets. The only thing I don't like is that pro camera cut out that you need to cover with an extra piece of plastic, but that's not a deal breaker.
Does the magnetic cover for the pencil if it’s got a silicone cover on it? That’s what I’m worried about if i get a case with one the places to insert the pencil

this case is perfect for me because i play games with my ipad, but i dont use a case because the folio always gets in the way but i also need a folio for using the ipad away from home, the only problem is they only make this for the ipad pro 2018 12.9 inch and not the 11 inch

That’s a great question! Unfortunately, the magnets don’t line up with the iPad’s magnet. ESR does make a slim folio though, that would give you what you’re looking for
I’m about to buy this case for my 1st iPad I just bought (very latest one, Pro Gen 6, 12.9”). I’ve always obsessed over protecting all my devices… This case seems almost perfect except what I’d love to see (on any iPad case, none have it!!) is a sliding rear camera cover!!! I don’t understand why it’s somewhat common to find that feature on iPhone cases now, but I’ve never seen one on a iPad case of any kind, not even the ones advertised as “armoured cases”…. I’d also love to see a built-in dust plug too, but can’t have it all I guess. This cover is by far the best I’ve seen so far function & protection wise… I wish so much all the time I knew how to make cases for devices. I’d introduce the world to the most complete protection, multifunctional cases the world has ever seen FR!! 😂😂
With the protective rim and clear back part of the case attached to the iPad, minus the actual folio part, are the magnets still strong enough to securely hold to the rebound keyboard case? If it is, it would make it much easier to transition between laptop and tablet, for those of us who primarily keep the keyboard on the desk and only attach to it when we actually need to use the iPad as a laptop.

I recently picked one of these up for my air 4, and what I can tell, there’s little magnets in the shell/bumper case thing, strong enough to stick to my fridge. So I think it would be able to use with the keyboard case you’re talking about. My laptop conked up on me, so I’ve been using the hybrid case as a way to transition my iPad from portable mode to desktop mode using a stand and an external monitor and keyboard
Does this case still connect to a magnetic keyboard? Not the Apple magic keyboard (it uses the 3 pins on the back to magnetically connect) but a different brand of one that doesnt use the 3 pins to attach? For example, the TypeCase magnetic keyboard?

I haven’t had any issues with charging my Apple Pencil with this case. Some people have as you might see in some of the comments. Just make sure the Apple Pencil doesn’t have a skin, cover, or grip on it
I have not had scratches on the back of my iPad itself. The clear part of the case will scratch as you use it and place it places, but your iPad will be safe based on my usage of the product
It has held up well for me. Maybe a very slight yellowing, but I will admit that I haven’t used it that much as I have used a keyboard case for the majority of my time with the iPad Air.
It works for me and seems like for most people. Some people have an issue. My guess it can be just some people get one with a defect, but I have confidence in the product
I personally use the black one, but that’s because I’ve been using my iPad at work and black doesn’t show smudges. My hands get pretty dirty from the dust and debris, so not like regular office usage. Otherwise, I like the blue color a lot
@@Technolotea I got portfolio case from the same company it’s really nice but I don’t feel safe using i am probably paranoid after watching bend test videos and even picking my iPad up makes me a bit paranoid I was thinking about new case that can make it durable enough for me not to worry about it

One thing they never mention, and nor have you-is what happens when you drop the iPad. Why’s it so hard to find a functional case with drop protection that doesn’t have shit design?! This would be great if it provided some shock absorption.

@@Classical_soni No. I tried, but it doesn't work. The ipad falls out between the flip covers, because there's no magnetic force to keep it attached.

Not sure about the flap, but I’m pretty sure that it won’t charge at that point.

It does add some weight, but for me it wasn’t substantial. But I’m also used to using it with a keyboard which does add a lot of weight

I believe the microphone layout is also slightly different. More important for the Pro models when using the older case

Not sure about bending but it should protect it a bit from drops as long as it’s not too serious of a drop

I never take the case of and I only use my Ipad with the pencil. If you don’t have an pencil sleeve it charge perfectly. At least for the Air 4.
