Hello! I just want to say I love your accent. As a non-native English speaker, it can be a little overwhelming to learn academic writing and rhetorics and also be worried about not sounding like the average English or American person when speaking. It puts me at ease to see such a knowledgable and well-spoken person speak in their accent with pride.
Mam it is you who tempted my internal desire and produced an intense interest towards the literature which was somewhere suppressed in the lack of such a fantastic guidance and lectures. Sooooo much love mam😢from Bihar ❤❤❤❤
Thank you soooooo much for these videos !❤ ... you don't know how much desperate I was for help in these topics 😢....I didn't do any classes in the college back then and now I am having exams from next month 🙃 and was getting tensed that I might fail in the paper .... may God bless you for your work ✨️ ❤️ bcs I hope, now, I will be able to pass the paper 📃😊....keep going with your good work 👍

Ma'am, this video is very useful. Now I can easily identify the figures of speech . Thank you ma'am and at the end you wrote a very beautiful poem, superb 😃
Thank you, ma'am, for helping us by sharing your extensive knowledge of literature. I love your video with all my heart. The very last poem has touched my heart. Could you tell me what poem it is so that I can go through it?
Mam, in one of those examples of alliteration and assonance fleet and feet also have have same 'ee' vowel sound so why u haven't included it in assonance?
Mam please give us a video on how to write rhetoric analysis in B. A exam... A sample writing will be so much helpful. How to write figure of speech analysis, the introduction.. Exam is next month. Will be so so Thankful mam.
Ma'am, can “and” in the poem fall under assonance too. Since the “a” sound is being repeated. That is, can “and”be both, polysyndeton and assonance at once?
Assonance is related to vowels, consonance is related to consonant sounds। When consonance is at the beginning of words it is alliteration, so you can say all alliteration is consonance but all consonance is not alliteration
Ma'am just a confusion please clear it again - if there are lot of commas and just one and ,or at the end of the sentence then what kind of syndeton would it be?As an instance the following sentence To strive, to thrive, to seek and to survive
@@mynm350 this is not polysyndeton. It is a normal sentence. Polysyndeton comes when and is used more than once. And asyndeton means and is never used, only comma.
Mam please make video on W.B Yeats other poems 1) The second coming 2) Leda and the swan 3) No second troy # T.S Eilot The hollow men # Wilfred Owen Strange meeting
Ma'am in the poem that you gave for exercise I also found some more figures of speech which you didn't mention Assonance of i - in,vain, solitude Assonance of a - a ,heart, pain Assonance of e - need, get , demons Assonance of o- not, lose Assonance of i- will, survive Assonance of a - a,battle ,that, face So is it all incorrect ?

Fleet feet - isn't this assonance ?
And also what's the difference between Refrain & Epiphora/Epistrope ?
Thank you 😊
Repetation of consonants are cold alleteration.
And there is the E sound. So, i think.
Refrain is complete sentence that is repeated at regular interval. It is like an expanded epiphora. Yes, fleet feet is assonance because of ee
Thank you so much !❤
Thanks again ma'am for the continuation of rhetoric classes
Ma'am thank you so much

I am so happy that you found out yourself
Excellent mam
Ma'am, in "To fight, to strive, to stay alive ", is the repetition of T not considered as alliteration? (19:48)
Yes.
Thank you mam
Very helpful
Thank You Ma'am 😊

Ma'am, what about "ee" in Fleet and feet reg Assonance. You have told in sweep, sleep and geese. plz clarify
That is also assonance. Good that you noticed
Hatts of you mam❤
Please make video on Duchess of malfi mam
Ma'am in a book, it says 'And all that', and 'Awaits alike' are example of alliteration. I'm confused now !!! But these are vowel sound !
That book is wrong then I am sorry. Many teachers make this mistake trust me.
@@NibblePop thanks ma'am however the defination is similar and right. It says this term only applied to consonants. Thanks mam
Pls upload 5 and 6 sem syllabus plsssssssss mam exams are coming and you are the only last hope pls upload mam
Rhetoric and prosody is very much part of sem 5 . I have also made many videos on feminist texts and modern poetry. Which univ are you from?
Please make a video on The Last Ride Together.
Ma'am, can “and” in the poem fall under assonance too. Since the “a” sound is being repeated. That is, can “and”be both, polysyndeton and assonance at once?
Yes
@@NibblePop Thank you ma'am. ✨
Mam I just love you ❤
Ma'am I think "Fleet Feet" will also be the case of Assonance as the sound of e is there.
right
Isn't ee from fleet & feet are alliteration?
@@ahanabasak2546 yes
Ma'am i am too benefited in the class.

Ma'am it will be very good, if you can provide the notes in pdf also. We will be grateful to you for this 🙏.

Mam.. If the 1st and 3rd line are same at the beginning and ending can it be called symploce ?

3) No second troy

Ma'am I have a doubt. What is the difference between Alliteration and Consonance ?
Alliteration is one type of consonance
In consonance the repeating sounds may or may not be at the start of the words
@@NibblePop so in the alliteration the repeating sound will always be at the start of the words ?
great
Ma'am in the poem that you gave for exercise I also found some more figures of speech which you didn't mention
Assonance of i - in,vain,solitude
Assonance of a - a ,heart,pain
Assonance of e - need, get , demons
Assonance of o- not,lose
Assonance of i- will,survive
Assonance of a - a,battle ,that,face
So is it all incorrect ?
Need and get have diff pronunciation of e. So it is not assonance.
Similarly not and lose , will and survive are not in assonance. Assonance should have similar sounding vowels.
@@NibblePop ok ma'am now I understand. Thank you ma'am for clearing my doubts ! ❤️
