Every time watch this it makes me so sad life can be such a fantastic journey..We should all be blessed to have had the pleasure in Laurel and Hardy...The world is a darker place without you...Heaven is very lucky ....
Don't be such a darker.. All these people here to worship one god in the realty we here to belive that is exist second life after death be muslim these is my advice to who read my comment.
I just got done watching the 2018 movie " Stan & Ollie" (again). Wonderful movie!!! They truly loved each other as brothers. What a treasure it is to see Ollie one more time shortly before his passing. Stan's name was in the phone book and he always welcomed friends and fans calling to chat with him. They will always live on in their movies.
I'm only 20 years old and one of my fondest memories is when I was very young. sat at my nans house. Me, My dad, my grandad, my nan, and my great grandparents all sat in the living room laughing our heads off. Still watch these legends to this day and it's on my bucket list to get a photo with the statue in Ulverston england and if possible visit their gravestones in the U.S to pay my respects for not only making me and my family laugh but the whole world. Absolute legends would love to have lived around the time period.
Info about the locations and other people in this footage besides Stan & Babe (Oliver): - The first half of the video was filmed at the Hardy residence. Andy Wade is the young man who stands behind them at the beginning. He was also the one who shot this footage. The brunette woman is Lucille Jones (Mrs. Hardy) and the blond woman is Ida Kitaeva (Mrs. Laurel). - The second half of the video was filmed at the Brooks ranch at San Fernando Valley. Stan and Ida are visiting Stan’s daughter Lois and her family here. We see Lois, her husband Rand Brooks, and their children Laurie and Randy. I actually have never found any info on the identity of the old gray-haired woman with them; perhaps this is Rand’s mother? If anybody knows her identity please say so in a reply. :)
You were asking about the older gray haired lady in the video. I did some searching of cemetery records and Rands mother passed away in Feb. 1951, so that lets her out.
Laurel wrote his own epitaph and true to form, his last words were written in the unique brand of humour that had made him so famous: “If anyone at my funeral has a long face, I'll never speak to him again”. He was buried at Forest Lawn in the Hollywood Hills Cemetery, Los Angeles
The man in the white shirt at the table is Rand Brooks, Stan's son-in-law. Rand was a character actor in Hollywood. He pariticurally played in a lot of westerns.
Great to see them, but their conditions are kind of disturbing. Stan can’t use his left arm (from his stroke) and Oliver is all but unrecognizable. Sadly Oliver would die from a stroke in less than a year. But still it’s great seeing them one last time.
Life is too short , i tear , all these people died even little girl , even the dog , Nothing equals to the mercy of God , Nothing equals to doing good deeds and charity , May Allah forgive us all , and mercy us when we die and become just memories and stories , Love and peace , Subhan Allah , when i watch my father and mother's photos , i tear , Nobody returns again , this world is just one way , go and no return .
In Greece back to 80-90s we grow-up with Laurel and Hardy and i hear that many of they money went to charities... At this time we had only 3 channels and they belong to state, only after 1991 channels open by wealty people... State channels are better to docymantere, but always support the x-regime

That little girl petting the dog is in her early 70's right now, if she's still alive. Wow.

Last appearance of Laura and Hardy 1956. Just think any new born then would now be 67 going on 68.

Never found these guys funny at all.
So why are you speaking here ? Personally, there are a lot of things I don't like.
I wondering the same this footage is for the fans.
If you found these guys never funny… I think you have some psychiatric problem… please consult a psychiatrist as soon as possible..
Well I did. Ever since watching them since the late 1970 s.
I have always found these guys very funny. They are my favorite chacrter of all time!
