i worked on top of a sky scraper ,dismanterling the hoist on side of sky scraped .it is not scarey too much may be a bit but once your up there its not scarey .it may look scarey when looking at a video old video but if you go up there you would not feel scared may be a bit

I'm amazed by the "work" clothing along with hats! Not hard hats now mind you. Dress hats. And what takes this to next level stuff, think about the winds that blow at those heights. Their hats didn't appear to budge. I love seeing these social-type activities back in the day and imagine how activities and the clothing norms evolved. Let's be honest, the work is the same. But it's the attitude that's changes. Being formal back in the day was the norm. Hell, these folks wore suits and vests along with the women wearing there Sunday best to ball games, trips to the beach, or just going out in general. That says a lot about the morals and attitudes of the day. Somewhere along the way attitudes and subsequent clothing styles became the exact opposite of where we are today... I wish we could declare a special day, week, or even month to honor the memories of the early 1900's and encourage dressing up and acting the part of the day. Some may embrace those feelings and bring back personal pride and avoid the moral pitfalls that have befallen many today. And for full disclosure, I am a 65 year man waxing poetic of days gone by...
