The fact that you mentioned in one of your streams that Free League delivered two kickstarter projects while several others still do not give us an idea of when they are going to do it.
Highlight was getting back to the table for in-person play. Something I haven't done since before Covid. Group is still playing bi-weekly. Thanks for mentioning solo play. 2023 was a year of experimenting with solo. I feel like I have my solo game figured out.
Great recap & summary. While it was a rocky year for the hobby, I'm happy to see great games like Savage Worlds and DCC getting more sales (and in theory more players and GMs). And I welcome new games and new game development talent getting involved in the industry and the continued erosion of the influence of Hasbro. 5E did some great things for growing the hobby. But I don't think table top gaming is compatible with the thirst for constant growth a publicly traded multinational corporation is cursed with.
What was your highlight of 2023?

Finishing a 3 year online DnD 5e campaign and running two Vaesen adventures and starting a Gen Lab Alpha (Mutant Year Zero) campaign.
My highlight, actually, I've converted a 5e group to Forbidden Lands and EZD6.
Moreover, yesterday, they said it would be great to play Dragonbane.
A great 2023 retrospective!
Well done Sean-Bo!
😁
The videos on this channel are ridiculously high quality for the number of subs. A really nice overview of the year!

Good stuff dude.

This is very cool!
Thanks Gabe!
Thanks for the D23 shout out, Sean!
