I'm definitely excited to see what you're alluding to in your next video! Any idea what it will be called so I can keep an eye out for it? The notification system is extremely unreliable and I really don't want to miss it!
Why don't you just subscribe and then check your subscriptions a few times a day? That's what I do, I don't get any notifications on any videos when I have them all turned on which is crazy that's been like this for years now TH-cam is junk.
this content is legendary
Ah yes I haven’t had a good panic attack in a while, thanks for the upload! My claustrophobia is excited.
Wish me luck im about to watch it myself and have one lol
Seriously I am also having a panic disorder and these kind of vids just feel good.
I had to swap from full-screen to cinema to prevent being too immersed lol.
I can honestly say that I follow more than I should of these channels about cave diving, cave exploration, cave mapping, etc. By FAR THIS GUY IS THE MOST EXTREME, TAKES INSANE RISKS ALL TO BRING US ALL A GREAT VIDEO OF A BEAUTIFUL CAVE!!! This channel NEVER FAILS to totally and completely amaze me by the situations they have been in!!! And Jacob is AMAZING!!! GREAT WORK SHOWING HIM THE FAMILY ACTIVITY THAT Y'ALL LOVE AND ENJOY!!!
im not really claustrophobic but this video did it for sure LOL!
I'm just glad that you've updated again after 2 months.
They have an another account, the name is Even Darker. They post more on there.
I hope they survived the exploration. I have a feeling they didn't make it bro 😮😮😮😮
@@giuseppemartino9783unless you’re being sarcastic I have something to tell you
How the hell would they upload it.
I’ll genuinely never understand wanting to squeeze into tight, narrow spaces with the danger of collapsing with no chance of help. I just think of the nutty putty cave incident.
That was due to a navigation error. The cover went into the wrong tunnel thinking it was an easier pathway, and ended up getting stuck in a bad position with gravity and his own joints working against him.
I despise the thought of doing this IRL too but caving is in fact wayyyyy safer than it may seem. Pretty much all known deaths have been 110% avoidable and only really happened due to people either pushing it or inexperienced people not taking the existing dangers seriously. Meanwhile a group of cavers who know their stuff will be safer than mountain climbers.

Right lol
Here, I'll share mine with you 😅
Don't take them all at once. Space them out over a lifetime.
Same!!!!😂
Is everyone on anxiety pills.
That's one of your most rollercoaster videos. Not only do I love your explorations but you share life lessons that should be applied to all aspects of life.
It is mad how much jacob has grown up! Glad you manage to get out that collapsed cave unscathed. The most important thing is that you all get home safe! 😊
I really hope the friend is ok, i can imagine that really shook them up
i'm glad uploads are back
One of the most entertaining and genuine feeling youtube channels out there. Always enjoy seeing an upload from you guys. Stay safe down there and try to not crush any heads beneath boulders!
What a pleasant thing to say thank you very much. We try to keep the horror wholesome.
Wholesome Horror 😂 yes please!
@@CalvinHikes No prob, thanks for the content that I'm too afraid to try myself haha. Been following since you first gained traction and learned a lot! You and Jacob make a great team
Ahhh I'm so glad you guys have started posting again. I was worried that something might have happened!
Something always happens. We just mostly move on. The snow is a problem right now.
Respect to Jacob for keeping calm under pressure & comforting their friend during that incredibly difficult situation
I’m glad you guys are the ones doing this and educating people.
Tiny caves are huge NOPE for me, but watching professionals do it in a relatively safe way is very interesting.
Thanks for sharing another crazy crawl 🤙🏻
8:51 😳 was not expecting to see yall grinding the Fallen/Situated rocks… that seems Hella dangerous 💀 but I’m not gonna argue with pros
And we aren’t going back to this one’s. That’s our professional conclusion.
So so glad to see you guys uploading! Great video! Much love and stay safe fellas.
Caving is so much easier than editing videos. Glad you enjoy them.
I'm at work so I can't watch this until later, but really looking forward to it. Also looking forward to helping break the internet when your next video comes out. Love you guys!!!! 😊😊
I appreciate that you remembered that. I don't think this videos particularly scary even though it's a very dangerous cave and somebody did get hurt.
But the next video is just awful. We are just dragging garry to his death.
It makes me happy to watch another video from you. Thanks
You are welcome.
Glad to see a new video! I'm always amazed and admire how brave you all are! Wish I had the guts to do this sort of thing! After watching for years, it's awesome to see how confident and brave Jacob has become as a young man and cave diver! Stay blessed and stay safe!
Jacob needs to stop growing or we’ll lock him in a cave. 🤪
hahaha! @@billsanders9387
Whew.... Glad you guys are back and even more glad you guys are safe!!
I wouldn’t go as far as “safe”
Your videos are wild to me but i enjoy watching the suspense of exploring caves and your commentary is fun too!
Good thing I've been watching these videos. I haven't been caving, but one night I woke up engtangled in my covers. I couldn't move my hand and somehow I was completely under the covers. I remembered the advice from this channel and stayed calm. There wasn't anything threatening me at the moment and I could breathe alright. I wasn't going to fall off my bed and I think that was the biggest danger after suffocating. I did a bit of meditating and collected myself. Then I managed to slowly wiggle myself free. I remained relaxed through the process and I didn't panic and I was calm enough to go back to sleep right after I had freed myself. I've certainly learned useful stuff from this channel!
Ok, We even laughed at this one!
"Siri, call 911!"
"Help! I've been entombed by my covers and they're holding me hostage! This is the most uncomfortable comforter ever!"
HAHAHHA this is hilarious
😂😂
Literally laughed out loud. Well done.
Glad you all made it out safe!!!
This time, they still have a lot of low IQ caves exploring to do.
It's crazy I feel like I've watched Jacob grow up dramatically in just the last couple years watching y'all's videos keep it up! Awesome content.
We tried to stop feeding Jacob, but as you can see, we failed!

Wonderful I am always exhilarated when you upload! I could never try this but the caves are incredibly beautiful

Sweaty palms. Your channel and action adventure twins caving are the best. Different style filming but similar vibes at times. Great!
Great video Calvin and Jacob. Looking forward to the next one since you have it all hyped up. Hopefully everyone was alright, you made it sound like Garry had a real bad time.
It looks like a Garry snuff video.
I'd hoped to have it done before this one but... soon.
@@CalvinHikes oh,jeez. I'll be waiting. Haha
I've nothing but respect for you guys. Like some others, it's stressful watching because of our own sense of claustrophobia. But I also respect the amount of physical conditioning, mental conditioning, courage, and possibly the life saving combination of patience and intelligence you need to do this. Good to see the occasional post from you again. Till next time!
you are such a pro at this but im still scared for you always, be safe! much love
Love returned. Adventure has risk. Life is an adventure.
Wow you guys have balls of steel ..yall are the truth not many people can mentally handle these types of situations and yall do it for sport. Amazing. It is good to know that if people get stuck in these types of places for whatever reason, there are people out there with the balls who will go in and save lives. Thank yall for the work you put in to bring us this content 👌
We have done some rescue, but generally we cave so far from the beaten path that we rarely see people. If we do, they are lost.
Been following you a long time. I'm glad it all worked out but I agree that talus caves can be very dangerous (as if I would know). Glad everyone is safe.
It's been a while, always love a good epic video to listen to on the way to work haha keep up the good work
Hope it makes your work seem easier.
@@billsanders9387 absolutely lol
Wow, that collapse is scary. I’m very impressed you and Jacob kept your cool and worked out an escape plan from both sides. But I guess that’s one of the most important skills to have if you’re going to crawl through tight caves.
I’m always amazed that you do it with all the filming gear. It was pretty funny to hear the cup falling down the crack. 😂
Thanks for sharing the adventure!
Fortunately, we plan ahead for these possible problems. It’s part of the challenge.
@@billsanders9387 Definitely wise! It’s pretty important to have those things already in your head, because adrenaline makes it difficult to make conscious decisions. It’s an immediate reaction boost. If it has a predetermined plan to draw from, then you’re much better off.
Were you there when the collapse happened, Sir Cavepops?
Yay! A new video from my new favorite YT channel! 😍 I am just sooo addicted to your content 😂 can't help myself. Hey, this is just claustrophobia therapy... And learning things about patience and to not be in a (unnecessary and useless) hurry. Which applies to everything in life! 😊 So thank you for all this fabulous content! On this channel and the Even Darker!
Glad you enjoy the videos. Caving is slow. Editing 5 hours of video to make a 20 min movie is waaaaay slower.
@@billsanders9387 all your beautiful work is very very appreciated!
I've been following you guys for a while and each time its because I watch a lot of caving videos, 2years ago i watched these videos and thought i would never be able to do it simply because of claustrophobia, but ive come to a conclusion that i want to try an amateur cave and maybe i will find a video, you guys make the caving so much more interesting with the commentary and how you make and edit the videos, great work hope you guys enjoy this hobby forever. Much love from Norway
You have so many amazing caves in Norway. Find a Grotto or caving club near you. Good luck.
Thanks for your efforts. Love this entire world.
The fact that you are concerned for the viewer while banging the mic around is hilarious and appreciated. This one has me watching in stages because I cannot handle the small place you are in, holy cow man.
Audio is a big part of the sensory overload in situations like. Trying to provide a genuine experience.
Anyways thank you for noticing.
This cave was surprisingly dangerous.
crazy man love the videos
So glad that everyone is okay...there is always that risk. You just never know. Jacob proved himself very successful in this situation. You've all gained skill that has served you well. Good luck in your future caving endeavors and take care of yourselves!
I love your videos so much thank you for uploading !! Y’all make some of the best content out there 🍄❤️💕
Thank you very much
Out of ALL your vids- this one makes me feel the BEST about y’all getting stuck- looks like A LOT of rock could be moved around to make the tunnels bigger … Another GREAT video, fellas!
When the rocks start moving, so do we. Thanks for the great comments.
That's fine and dandy for the big rocks, but what about the small ones, and the sand?
@@kewlztertc5386 just move it around- that’s what I ALWAYS look for in these caving videos - is there enough area to move stuff around/IF there is anything to move around to make the tunnels bigger … in this one it looked like there was plenty of room to move stuff around… consider you have someone else w you- I don’t think you’d be stuck for long in this one, even though it looks rough… I’m still NOT going in lol but this one looks a lil better than most
It’s good to see you and your nephew again 😊
Almost all of these are nightmare fuel.. subscribed.
This channel keeps me safe in caves because after watching these videos, there is absolutely no chance I'm going in one...🤣
There is NOTHING in there but more rocks
You’ve been there?
I feel a need to say this on your videos every so often so I will say it again. I can get motion sickness when the wind changes direction and I can still watch your videos, so good job keeping the camera still.
That's a very impressive compliment.
I get motion sickness pretty easy as well. I can't use any kind of VR.
@@CalvinHikesamen to that
You guys are just crazy. Watching this even before the incident was terrifying and i think my claustrophobia may have doubled for a moment.
But... i am very glad everyone made it out of there and that cave part isn't accessible anymore.
Take care and keep staying alive. :)
Great comment. A little luck goes a long way in everything.
Another insane video. Explored the Manson Caves in California when I was in High School. Scariest thing I've ever done. Mad respect for you guys.
I would be afraid that if you hammer the stone and loosen it, it would start a chain reaction
That was our primary concern here. Especially since the stone we were loosening was positioned below us.
In the end, it WAS the removal of that stone which did set off a chain reaction. That area is now collapsed again and took some skin and hair with it.
Helps with deep breathing exercises on account of me squeezing my lungs closed!😮😂

I have to say I truly admire your strength in being able to do this. Just incredible.

Man glad Jacob stayed calm and they worked together to get safely out
Jacob is totally chill.
His videos make me anxious, but I can’t look away.
No freaking way 😭 How do you feel comfortable doing this. My heart is in my throat! Props to your adventurous spirit ❤
Yikes! We almost had a similar incident at a pit. Entrance room dropped down about 10 ft to the little hole that dropped another 60. After we were all out, a rock in the entrance room got knocked over, and eventually more did until the small hole was filled in. The entire floor started to shift so we got out fast. Breakdown is super sketchy
Always! Doubt we’ll do this one again. We tried an erosional cave on a rainy day. That was a zinger, too.
You make excellent videos sir just thought you should know
Thank you very much.
wait a minute..... i subscribed to your channel when you only had 117 subscribers and look at you guys now already half a million😍

This is crazy and scary. I’m all for adventures and hikes, at least with hikes I know I will see something pretty at the end of that hike… Caving it’s just scary and dark and uncomfortable in my opinion, but I can understand how some people get a satisfaction out exploring them. Not everyone has to have the adrenaline for their choice of activities, so much respect to you guys and for the educational video. Seeing your video, definitely reassure me not to try tight small cave spots 👍🏼.
The idea that you would not only climb into these rocky caves, but actually pound and chisel away at rocks while you are inside it... completely insane. Not surprised someone ended up dying.
