Honestly, Oliver is in my opinion the best cw dc character. I love Grant’s Barry because he has a hero complex through it all. Even when he suffers he still upholds his morality. But Oliver, he’s so real. The Oliver we met in Season 1 was suffering of PTSD, and through the seasons we’ve seen him suffer and learn to deal with in a positive way. Yeah, he was a killer and he’ll always live with that but in the end he was the guy willing to die to save everyone. Sad thing is sometimes I felt like Oliver wanted to die; because he hated who he had become; it’s just he wanted to die a hero.

I completely agree with you that he hated who he become, as a killer, vigilante, as a leader. But not as a Father! I feel like after all of his sacrifice, after everything he's ever done he was first and foremost proud to be a father. His mindset began to change the very moment he found out he was a father in season 4, thereon his character slowly developed and he began to question himself, his motives and priorities. While madly in love with Felicity, saving the city, the world, he was still struggling with his internal Demons of his past, and apart of him still felt unworthy of being the hero. Oliver almost seemingly jumped and every opportunity to sacrifice himself for the greater good. From what we seen by season 7 finale he had a complete and total change of heart, and felt worthy of being just Oliver Queen, Husband, a Hero. We see that when the Monitor comes to collect Oliver for their bargain. He wanted to die a Hero, but in the end he just wanted to live as a Father and Husband. Oliver turly matured before our eyes. it's been such a beautiful run!

When Oliver said "I enjoyed killing" and Felicity seen right through him and instantly knew it was a thought implanted in his mind and immediately started to talk him down and remind him of what kind of man he really was I instantly had one of those hard to swallow moments because it was such an organic scene. Emily and Stephen together on screen are just so surreal.

This vid shows us that despite everything Oliver wants to be better and he's been through hell in ways that defy logic and despite that he didn't turn into a monster. Well done.

Okay. Yep, yep, yep. This did it. This is the type of angst that fuels not soul. Perfect and amazing, the scenes you used were different then a lot of the ones that are used in other Oliver Videos and I loved that. Plus the angst broke my heart which is what I love. Amazing!

You are like the only person I follow who consistently vids the... the reasons i still love watching Arrow. You do it so well. This is POWERFUL and the song is so great for Oliver.
