Rich was a real dude man, I honestly think he was a good person. It’s a shame he passed Rest In Power big guy ❤️
He sounded like a very nice guy and honest.
He was. But rly unhealty rolemodel for young bodybuilders. But he was honest.
@WhatsGoingOn synthol isnt something most actual bodybuilders use, its what the fake guys use cause they dont want to put in the work, lol
synthol is also GLARINGLY obvious, because it adds no muscle mass/strength to the body, it just bulks up wherever you inject that nonsense into
He's dead
@@ryanakahuss It's obvious that Rich used it. His arms look bloated.
@theejayzeeable his arms look like ronnie colemans arms, not bloated just big. To big for him. But you cant actually tell he has synthol, only people that say that are the same people who pretend they knew stuff before they were told.
Tosh: What would you do if we switched bodies?
Rich: I’d go jog around the track and see what it’s like jogging again.
What an awesome response. Rich was such a honest great guy for someone that looked like a total asshole. LOL.
RIP Rich
I bet a lot of ppl that didn’t follow him thought he would say some negative things like “hang it up” or some dramatic answer but he was probably serious... he used to say all the time “10 mins of cardio” or force himself to do cardio
Rich Piana was honestly the best spokesperson AGAINST steroid abuse; he gave realistic information on its effects and never advised anyone to experiment unless they completely understood what they were doing. IMO, from what I've seen, Rich Piana was a hell of a dude, and I hope that he rests in peace.
Damn, really makes you miss Rich. He was a character and surprisingly genuine.
How he died never heard of these guy?
Heart attack I think
@@ezequielchavez457 he had a heart attack and died a couple of weeks after being in a coma for 2 weeks.
Hated because of his brutal honesty, RIP big man with a big personality.
Yeah I'd rather have someone say he was on steroids and how to safely do it then lie and make you feel like you just don't have the genetics
I really enjoyed this interview. Great job guys!
Manliest thing I ever heard, ”who’s Adele...?”
@yhootoob that kid literally threatened him and his wife for 5 weeks straight, and ONLY got a lil slap on his face. Besides that, he looks way older than 12
@yhootoob you are a lunatic, I'm sure he had his rage moments, as does virtually everyone else on gear, but piana was very chill with everyone he met
@yhootoob Dumbass, Jason Genova was close to goddamn 30 when that happened, not 10. Not just that but Genova was the first instigator and karma caught up to him. His disability doesn't excuse his actions. Not just that, his wife abused HIM, she was a merciless gold digger. Your levels of misinformation to slander Piana is beyond astounding. Piana's no saint but he sure as hell aint no bully. He was just as real as it gets.
@Brian Weatherman hes definitely not biased against rich at alllllll smh
@yhootoob Jason was in his 30s when that happened lol the dudes only like 36 now and that whole ordeal with him happened less than 6 years ago. You’re a clown. get a life, worrying about a dead man really mature.
RIP Rich! So much respect for him. The most honest guy in bodybuilding. He's literally telling you don't live this lifestyle. Can't be more honest than that.
Feel like Tosh was genuinely surprised how chill Rich was
"Live large, die young, and leave a giant coffin." RIP Rich
I'm ashamed of how I judged Rich Piana based on his appearance. He seems like a really cool and genuine guy
RIP Rich
Update: Wow 999 likes! Who will be the 1k like?
Mad respect to you for admitting that.
he was honest man. No body is perfect but he told the truth about roids, BB,health issues,an its addictive aspect of self image.
You do know he dropped the n word couple of times bro.
@@lonewolflenca5319 - No I didn't....perhaps the image he presented was not a reflection of his true self and he was an asshole However he did apologize, i dont know if it was sincere but too late to find out now
CGI bro
I never thought I'd see the day that Daniel Tosh and Rich would stand side by side. It's literally never a scenario you would imagine happening. I wish I knew Rich went on Tosh.0 before he passed away sooner because their physique differences are pricelessly funny 😂
"Are you gunna tone it down at any point in your life?" "Yeah" : ((( Rest in Paradise king
He made his name because of his look, so he wasn't going to tone it down anytime soon
Rich was a role model for me. Worked my ass off in my own business like he did making sacrifices and doing whatever it takes and prospered bec of it. He's also responsible for me finally hitting 315 on the incline at 40.
Awesome! Congrats man!
Be careful with that incline. 2 tears for me at 335. That was in my 30’s
You were the best Rich. Honest, humble, truth telling stud. You made a difference big guy. To all of us. R. I. P. Legend.
I cried when this man suddenly passed. Rich had a innocent soul.
You really cried ? Did you know him personally??
It destroyed me because I just didn't expect it. Watch him one day, next day gone.
@@manueltalavera7877 it's a natural response when a person who affected your life in a positive way dies. I bawled like a baby when Steve Irwin died and only knew him from his show.
@@anthonysolis4163 Truly, man. I didn't shed tears when Rich died exactly, but I certainly felt that familiar shadow of unease pass through me to know the world lost a good person. Damn shame but I hope both he and Steve Irwin are in a good place. They'll certainly be remembered for a long time down here, that's for sure.
Yeah sure
He was a good man, respectful and humble, Rest In Peace rich.
Dude was a legend. RIP Rich
Daniel's eyes say "man crush" through the whole thing.
R.I.P rich
Mike Hoffman
Almost three years ago now. RIP.
@@aaronburratwood.6957 was it really almost 3 years? That i didn't know it was that long ago
Rip Rich. Was a good influence on such a shitty industry.
I did not expect this interview to be as wholesome and warm-spirited 😭
I think this was the first honest interview Tosh has ever had with a guest that wasn't secretly making fun of them.
Wonder why 😂
This was actually good.
Usually Tosh.0 makes most of their guests look like complete weird-o’s during their CeWEBrity Profiles, but they were unable to show that about Rich. Rich seems like a bright guy and I feel Tosh.0/ Comedy Central wasn’t able to make fun of their guest as usual. Rich knows what people think about him and he seems super genuine. Can’t believe I am just seeing this now!
Love that Tosh actually liked him you could tell.
I dont know in his private life....but on social, Rich was very educated, polite and respecfull it was very hard to dislike him. I worked at 4 conventions he was and the dude was one of the few educated, polite down to earth fitness personalities on those shows.
If a gears of war movie was ever made, this guy would have been perfect for it. RIP
Its Dom lol
@@taramoon9307 nah a bounty hunter for skorge. It would've been a cool dlc just like raams shadow
He would have been a perfect Marcus. Looks and even sounds like him.
He's in heaven benching rn

He's Jesus Christ's personal trainer now according to some comments 🏋️♂️😇
@@sellamoespanol3347 Hopefully he accepted Jesus. I'm sure he did.
Luke Baehr I think Jesus accepted him, but his training waitlist is about eternity long, gonna have to wait until the older Demi gods are leaving spots open in his schedule.
Babe!? My hearts not beating right babe??!! Lol 😆
Rich seemed like a real honest nice guy. I’ve watched him for years and he really had a way more humbling attitude than a lot of celeb Body builders and he was actually approachable when a lot of them could give two shits about about someone they randomly encounter. Respect for this man always RIP.
I hate myself for being one of the people to "troll" his comment section when he was alive. Such a genuine and cool dude.
You keep admitting your mistakes, and working on your yourself, and you'll be as much of an upstanding person as Rich's muscles are huge.
I think everyone trolled rich to a certain extent. Deep down we all loved him.
Dude those troll comments were one of the reasons he got so famous. I bet he still laughts at those jokes. Right babe?
@@simosavustaja9420 yep
He had a lot more personality and was more normal than I was expecting.
@@KennyMcCormick99 I know yeah, about 3 years ago. That's why I said 'had'. I'd never seen him in any kind of interview.
@@wayneswirl yea, I was wondering when they would release this tosh interview.
@@KennyMcCormick99 RIP cool big man

Rich was such a good sport. RIP to a legend.
Crazy how he wasn't lying about a heart attack
Autopsy showed his heart was in incredibly good shape for someone his size. They never actually admitted the cause of death. Im guessing recreational drugs

Getting a haircut right? That's what he was in the middle of doing I thought I heard.
It was insulin that killed him he fell into a diabetic coma during a haircut because he didn’t have enough carbs in his system to counteract the insulin. It’s a bodybuilders worst nightmare really.
@@benjaminhoffman5239 oh s#!+! Damn that's crazy...Thanks for sharing that.
He was a straight up guy. RIP.
he was honest about his steroid use during a time where even the guys competing in the Olympia were still claiming natural
Not even into bodybuilding but mad respect for Rich. Honest, funny and passionate. RIP Rich.
Loved this interview. Straight-up, honest, non-judgemental, and funny.
Honestly, very hard to hate the guy after every truth he spoke. He knew the path he was on and he was open, honest, and accepted his likely outcome. That’s the definition of a real man to me.
Tosh is actually a legend for having fellow legend Rich Piana on his show.
R.I.P Rich, this man was one of the most honest guys in bodybuilding. Look him up if you wanna get big and have questions about natty vs steroids..
@RyanJL337 Hang in there man what you're doing takes strength to get out of that hole. Rich Piana is on YT, he did everything from info vids on money/health/mentality, to workout vids like his feeder workouts or 8hr arms. Its cool stuff and he pushed the limits.
@Risks It For The Biscuit I know what he did and I'm just saying he was pretty open book about the stuff he did that got him big. How is that useless information for someone who is going into those deep waters with minimal first hand knowledge? Have you ever even seen any of his videos? He talks steroids, money-making, food, and some other entertaining content. I understand his negatives but he had positives too.
Behind their backne.
😂
And big balls yes, are a problem. 😂
The Oreos got me. 😂😂
at least hes not taking himself too seriously I can respect that.... RIGHT BABE!!??
Oh those last two words hurt my heart, I actually do miss this guy.
