- Keep mushrooms moist by misting 1-2 times a day

How many times will they grow before you need to remove straw and start over? This is really cool. Also do you recommend more holes in back or sides or just the front row. I'm wondering if there is a reason for the one roe of holes. Thank you! Great video. I'm inspired!

Loved this too much 😊 👍👏 question i have ia what type of mushroom os this, and can you grow any mushroom this way? Also how many times can you rewater and regrow? One last thing, can you do this inside home in sunny window anytime of the year? I know, loads of questions, but i really wld like to do this for my son that has inoperable cancer so he can get more better proper nutrients it has. Sure be will have fun watching mushrooms mature as well. Thank goodness google recommended you or else i wld of never known this site nor of the how to's and donts. Unfortunately this looks pretty hard to maintain. Difficult to clean and steralize for future flushes. Maybe if you had a way to keep the same colony fed continously this would be nice, but as of now it's kinda just a one off thing that could easily be replaced with a bucket that's easier to clean.

When growing mushrooms, you should keep them in a shady place, away from sun and wind - I am harvesting mushrooms in this tube for the third time and am still harvesting again.

What is that being sprayed? Is it water or a chemical?
Are you using PVC? If so, do you give this to food grade suitable? I know that the chemical make-up is not so great but I don't understand the amount of leaching which could/might occur?
Why worry. PVC is used for water pipes.

@@holisticlife2126Completely different medium. Mushrooms breakdown chemicals from their environment, the mushroom then holds high amounts of potential toxins. Water doesn’t react to PVC but best to check with mushrooms.
Солому не пробовали дробить ? Мы пропускали солому через измельчитель , больше влезет в мешок субстрата , и ляжет плотнее , а значить и урожая будет больше.
❤ А можно ещё птдробить кору деревьев, что ещё более умножит количество и качество урожая.

How do we know that substance that was added into the weeds?? And what's the substance being sprayed the pipe with?? Before the germination of the mushrooms?? I love to do it in my house please Finnish me with the names of the substances used. Thank you.
What's shown in the video is as follows; straw for nutrients, grain spawn (mycelium grown on grain/seeds), and water to induce a growth cycle.

You can buy 4 inch clear rigid polycarbonate pipes used in dust collection at commercial vacuums at carwashes but they are like $20 each. Guess you could maybe clean and reuse??

Spores are collected and used to make a culture. The culture is added to grain. The mycelium (Mushroom seeds) are the product of the culture growing on the grain.

There is no such thing as mushroom seeds. What you saw were seeds that the mycelium grow on. Many times rye berries, brown rice flower, vermiculite, etc etc.. mushrooms grow via spreading mycelium. You can use certain seeds as a substrate but there are no “mushroom seeds”.

Lol "its beyond my comprehension, so it must be fake.." fungi are actually pretty clever on finding routes (incredibly efficient too!) to either food, water or open air to release spores . Look up slime mold studies that were done with oats and topographical maps.
Thanks for your info, we will explore. I still maintain that this is fake until proven otherwise. 1. We are living in a very fake world, a lot of info on social media confirms that.2. is this a made in china video,?can't see the individual face! A lot of things made in China is fake. 3. Personal experience while exploring in Sichuan province China, I was so excited about giant mushrooms growing on the local farms, I was told they were native and natural. It turns to be untrue , GMO+GMO fertilisers😅.
