Those Honeycrisp apples are beautiful. One of my favorite apples just for eating. You will be so busy for the next few days but you can enjoy those fruits for the rest of the year. I can't wait until we get a little cooler weather here in MS.
I have been watching some of your older videos. The amount of knowledge, information and WISDOM you two have is amazing. How blessed are we to have you share it with us. Thank you. Have a lovely day.
Purchased the 20 lb box of Honey Crisp last Azure order. Canned four quarts of slices. Ate the rest. So delicious. Ordered another 20 lbs of Honey Crisp and they’re sold out. Hope to get some next order.
I have a granny smith and honeycrisp tree growing up here in Michigan Zone 6A, those were the only 2 varieties I wanted/needed. I've heard Jonathan tastes pretty much like Grannysmith, the sweet/sour crunch from a grannysmith just can't be beat in my opinion, plus it's good for baking too.
Looks like a great haul! It is so encouraging to see you canning & putting food on the shelf. Also, I like the thought process of grow everything you can, but if you can't grow it, it is possible to buy good quality & still can it up for the shelf. Great video!
My favorite cauliflower is either hot, pickled OR I take the whole head and slice it 1/3 inch thick. Sear in a cast iron skillet with hi temp oil, add salt pepper and thyme. You want browning. A cauliflower “steak” is a fantastic base for meats or just by itself. I don’t cut the stem out either. This is what I make for my vegetarian friend: cauliflower steak with a roasted red bell pepper on top. Then spinach. Top it with a corn and chipotle pepper sauce. To make the sauce: oven roast some corn. Put it in a pot with a little of the red bell, onion, oil and a crumbled dried chipotle pepper. Add a little chicken stock and boil for a few minutes until most of the water is gone. Process in a blender or food mill then add a little cream, milk, or cashew milk. Bring to simmer and thicken. Strain. I could just drink this stuff, hot or cool😊
Nice haul! I have to say that English muffins with pepper jelly sounds amazing! (We don't have mayhaws here that I know of) Your jars look wonderful! Thanks for sharing, Shalom!
Honeycrisp is my favorite apple. It's an apple variety that you can use for almost every apple menu you want to make. I don't use any other variety anymore.
Good morning Wanda! Fall canning IS the best! Get my Azure pick up on Friday. I ordered 80lbs of Honeycrisp Apples and 40 pounds of cabbage. Will be busy this coming week dehydrating apples and making apple butter, and canning a nonfermented kraut. Canned 28 quarts of Split Pea and ham soup and 14 quarts of Great Northern bean and ham soup 2 days ago. Was up til the wee hours of the morning finishing it. Next will be canning chicken noodle soup, and wild rice, chicken mushroom. And later more beef tomato vegetable .
Filling in the gaps! Danny would grow apples if we could but we have to buy them. We do have some cabbage planted, hoping for slaw in a couple of months. Enjoy your canning
I received my 120lbs honeycrisp apples from Azure last week and spent the weekend making apple sauce and apple pie filling! Thank you for sharing your azure hauls! Last weeks Azure pick up was my first and I’m impressed!
I have some freeze dried, some juiced in small bottles in the freezer, and I keep some fresh as long as I can. Just was gifted 2 - 5gal buckets of Louisiana swamp Lemons.
They are comparable to any organic foods. Not double or triple. I checked prices on many items I buy and several are actually cheaper by the lb that other organic companies.
Any day we spend canning in the kitchen is a good day 😊
Playing Catch up on the video that I miss while I was on vacation. Thanks for this video. The apples look beautiful.
It’s a beautiful day today! We are all blessed.

Jonathan apples were always my favorites but the last I found were not edible. Nothing like they used to be
My next order from AS will include the fresh turmeric, which I intend to plant.

I got 5lb pineapple chucks on my last order and I canned them. I love those English muffins. You can add apple sauce to your oatmeal.

@@pecangrovems Yes ma'am filling in the gaps! I like cabbage better in a salad than lettuce. Nothing like it fresh!
I’m looking forward to your feedback on Southern Cultured and hoping that they have apple varieties suitable for PG, and whatever else is available.
Miss Wanda is always busy!
Nice haul !!!👍👍
I just got finished canning my fresh stuff but now to see what needs done in the freezers.
Good morning Wanda, always use orange juice in my cranberry sauce,is so good!
Azure apples were so good! Not one bad spot on any of mine. I've find my producer place!!
Beautiful haul!! Have a blessed day❤

These apples are so good. We have been eating them fresh each day. I plan to start canning tomorrow.
I ordered 2 boxes of gala apples from Azure. I can’t wait until they get here!
Wow , I hope they don’t run out before I get my apples
It all looks so good. Nice haul.
Good morning, nice video on an amazing day!
Good morning. Good news so far from yesterday. Sadly can’t eat peelings but sure can enjoy the apple cut up! May try if have them next order.
I save the peelings for other projects. I will have a lot of peelings from these because they are organic and not coated in wax
@ was thinking about trying to make my own ACV. Never tried before.
Love your shirt
How do you like those apples? Yes, to my opine, it is a Great day today.
I have a lot of honey crisp to process too. Yum!
They are fantastic aren't they? Tell Mike the Rescuer HELLO
@ will do 🤣
Beautiful apples
Do you use well water or community water?
Well water
I use a lemon a day and am thinking of ordering the large lemon order. That way cheaper than Walmart. How do you store lemons longer term?
I have some freeze dried, some juiced in small bottles in the freezer, and I keep some fresh as long as I can. Just was gifted 2 - 5gal buckets of Louisiana swamp Lemons.
I would never buy apples in a store ...farmers markets are always your best buy
Only if you know the farmer. I use to work farmer markets and most didn't tell the truth about how they grew there produce.
good morning
It is a good day.
You are going to be one busy woman. ❤😊
The only problem with Azure is, you’re dependent on them like the store instead of being self sufficient.
We grow about 75% of our vegetables and fruits and all of our meat. So not dependant on Azure.
I'm certainan the Azure brands are good, but they are not worth the double and triple price tag they charge for it.
They are comparable to any organic foods. Not double or triple. I checked prices on many items I buy and several are actually cheaper by the lb that other organic companies.
