Seems like they were the type that dont know ground they thought they can just dig dirt in a creek bed and get it no no you have to read that ground and fred is a gold hound my gosh hes incredible smells that gold
Softwood pines like that will put on more than 1 ring a year. That tree is likely under 60 years old. Not a very big or old pine tree at all. Counting rings is quite inaccurate. The tree girth and height plus the size of it's root structure is a much better way to determine a tree's age.
I wish i could afford t BB V every month id be watching you Freddy and. The kids gold rush i don't member his name but both of ya love ya both I'm old Freddy now haha sorry, cms
I bet if you cornered them up, they would say their greatest thrill is helping these struggling miners succeed. I remember down in Arizona, a couple of little girls brought both of you to tears. Can do better than that
If you listened Freddy asked where did you find this tree? And he said in the middle of the cut, that means it was left there and covered over. Plus if you look at the cut it’s rough like the old hand saws. But it wasn’t processed any further, a good indication it was cut down right before the old timers stopped mining there.
@@whosaidthat5236 OMG counting the rings tells you how long a tree was alive, not how long ago it was cut. If a tree was cut and covered over for 150 years it would rot. It seeded and grew in the cut created by old timers after they mined. Counting the rings confirms that.
Its funny... people want to go gold mining and spend tens and hundreds of thousands of dollars on land and equipment and have no idea what they are doing!!!
The first gold mining reality tv show i watched was based off like.... pastors that moved to alaska to mine for gold, and they pretty much threw away all the gold they had because they didnt know they had to put those mats on the sluice boxes. So it baffles me as well
Trees half that age .😂 Should be mining license on in the records. Probably logged in thw 1950's. ive learned alot from these discovery tv shows scripted or not. How slucing can work better for ya. How build ponds , how water is so important.
They just did a show in my hometown in oregon.. talking with friends they hauled the dirt in with gold. Very deceptive to say the least... so this is all talk, acting like yhey know something about the past.... 💯 fake crap.
The reason these guys fail is because they don't understand mining 101. They don't know how to prospect, they cant read ground, they cant do geology, they don't have the sense to check the spray bar in the trommel (its been squirting in the wrong direction since 1921 ffs), the don't have the sense to pan the ground they are sluicing, they don't check their tailings for excessive dirt, fine gold riffles for clogging up and they sluice with dirty water. I could train a 10 yr old to do a better job.

Fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've missed Freddy and Juan. What's up ? When is their show coming back?
Freddy Dodge knows all!
That’s near our mine used in 2020 gold rush. That town is sumpter Oregon
Freddy missed the age correction on the tree, it could be 15+ years older than the rings 6ft up would indicate.
Two of the most decent human beings you would be more than lucky to meet...
130👍's up Fred thank you for sharing
Seems like they were the type that dont know ground they thought they can just dig dirt in a creek bed and get it no no you have to read that ground and fred is a gold hound my gosh hes incredible smells that gold
Juan and Freddie make a great team!!!

Can do better than that
Freddy looking rough
Merci de bien vouloir activer les sous titres cela me permettrait d'apprécier
Fred’s og af
It’s sumpter Oregon
Love you so man good to watch
I don't get the tree ring calculation. The rings tell you how old the tree was when it was cut down, not when it was cut down, surely??
Because it was cut down recently by the miner in the video
So its basically just cut down

Pretty cool, though it sucks the creeks were destroyed. I guess they were too small for fish and stuff anyway.
Lol you live in a city. Clueless
Seems like a loss to me with the cost of equipment
Come on freddy
pas de sous titres au revoir
Fill tha bucket when you’re slucing ffs👍
I found like 3 ok oz of gold and every jawerly or gold shop they don't wanna tell me what it is but to me is gold
Freddy Uniman Friday yeah good are the perfume do you have anybody in need your taxes are at all just about there anybody you are a man😊😊😊
He needs to find new ground. He burned up alot of money just to get .77 .
Don't be stupid and you won't feel stupid.
1.54 OZ for a full day? Not worth it
Gold price today is $1900 an ounce. An ounce and a half would be $2850 for 8 hours. $2850 × 5 days = $14,250. Not bad for a week's pay.
@@nancygodsey8312 minus fuel costs insurance everything else. Yeah a bad weeks pay
Fred and the mexican guy seem to know whats up
I can't hear ya
S3 E2.
Don't pray, use science and facts to find gold.
danggg freddy looks bad
518th! Big Things ONLY SKO-DEN STOO-DIS
Old timer did not real have earth moving equipment
That is where the opportunity exists. Just slightly different methods.

Hey if you need a partner let me know.
This entire show is 100% scripted!
Totally...and badly scripted at that.
The same crappy scripted shit from Discovery
