    I think the really interesting thing is you can now measure acceleration with that new GPS device! It's really cool! I'm looking forward to seeing some more of your DualRidge, makes me want to take mine out for a spin soon, maybe already this weekend/Easter. Have a great one there!

      Yeah, those features will come in handy in the future. Hope you had a great Easter with your Dual Ridge. Sorry for the late reply. Been too long since I was in this channel the last time. Got a few videos to edit for the channel though.

    Just changed my pinion to 22t and full ball bearing and went 23mph on a 2s lipo. Motor and esc temps were very manageable as well. Nothing getting too hot. Plasma edge with tq tune brushed motor. Now have a 3900kv brushless motor and running 33mph. Thats about as power as this chassis can manage without too much stress its plenty fast now.

    I remember having the TT02B. Stock pinion gear was very small. Definitely good gains to be had with gearing changes.

    • @nordichobbyvisions719
      @nordichobbyvisions719  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, comes with a 17T so a very low gear ratio (usual for Tamiya in these entry-level lines). Only good thing about it is that it is a steel pinion (which is unusual for Tamiya). Will definitely change the pinion to a 19T soon. And then start changing the spur which I think will allow a 27T pinion in the end.

      Uhh, sounds like a super time. Always great to get models that one has never had a closer personal look at. Especially if it’s models that deserve the name holy grail. I bet it was a thrilling moment getting that Dyna. Congrats with all the new members of the car park. Would love to see your Dyna Storm. Would love to get my hands on a Dyna Blaster one day. Sounds like you got your hands full. Hope all is well with you and yours too, Chris.

    Nice video those plug adapter's melt when u upgrade the motor I stopped using them good luck 👍

    • @nordichobbyvisions719
      @nordichobbyvisions719  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah, but as I mentioned they will be just fine for me with these first motor tests. No Tamiya plug melts with a silver or black can and a 2S 😅 When we go with higher RPM’s and voltage, the whole system (ESC and motor) will be changed. Here I usually use EC5 and IC5.
