Prime is an awesome app. I bounce between it and Abelton. When I haven’t committed to a set I use prime for the quick and dirty rehearsal. Then I use Abelton to craft the set. Love them both.
Thanks so much for this video. I want to know if it is possible to use Novation MK2 from Ableton to control the App as you did it with your midi controler or it can be used with any other midi controler. Is it possible to control with a midi controler different parts of a song ? I also want to know what solution if the tracks of the Worship song I want do not exist ? How to build my own tracks and use them in the App ? I'm a Worship leader and I don't have a band in my church for now and this could be very helpful Thanks
Such a timely video! I have been watching your stuff but have been wrestling with getting abelton because it seems to much to fast, but Prime is such a great tool to start with! Thanks Jake
i guess Im asking the wrong place but does someone know a way to log back into an instagram account..? I stupidly lost the password. I appreciate any help you can offer me!
Is Prime a good choice if I only want to play back tracks that I create? That is ... I will only be using tracks that I have multi tracked and mixed down to RIGHT TRACK: Mono sum of music LEFT TRACK: Click. So I won't need the ability to change anything in the mix on the fly. If yes ... cool. If not ... any other simple options out there for me to consider? Really just need a two track playback but like the ability to change the order of songs. Thoughts? Thanks so much for your excellent videos.
I am running the prime app and noticed that the multitrack audio is not as dynamic as our real instrument audio. I originally had my iPad 1/8 to double quarter inch going directly into my snake. It sounded flat! So I researched more and read that the double quarter inch should be going into a DI BOX, I I did that... with not much change... the multitrack sound just got softer. What am I doing wrong? The multitrack audio is just not blending with our real music. It sound flat and not dynamic. What do. Need to do? Please help!
Hey bro do you need internet to access these track you purchase from loop community ? What if your at home with internet and create a set list for church will the set list be there when you reach at church without internet ? Also will you need the internet each time your creating a set list ?
Hi, i am still new to this and i have a question, like if the worship leader controls the foot controller and also set the pads too, then what about the keys when do he/she use the pads or both uses different ableton? One for the keys for pads and one for worship leader for clicks and tracks ?
Do you guys purchase the "In-app only" (~$30) or "split track" (~$12). If I buy the split track, can i still control volume, and mute/unmute instruments that i need/don't need?
Hey Jake! Could you also make a video about speakers that you use for the audiance? I want to get speakers for our PA but can´t seem to find how many Watt i need or the Decibels i need to get etc. Or do you have tips where i can find this kind of information?
We use EV 12” powered speakers with 18” powered subwoofers. The model details and links are in my worship ministry toolkit (linked below this video). We run the volume at 90-95 dB. I might make a video about this sometime!
@@Churchfront hey man I had a question it seem to be the best way to reach you our songs that we downloaded in Loop Community or not showing up in the prime app can you help thanks. It shows we purchased the song and it says they will send us an email and it will automatically be downloaded just as your video says but nothing is happening help please
Hi! I have been editing some of our own tracks on loop community to add verses, chorus etc. When I go to the church building and load up Prime on that computer the changes I have made on loop haven’t loaded onto Prime. Do you know how I can get changes on loop community to sync to Prime? Thank you!
Jake... How many dollars does a credit equal?? Im from mexico and I just downloaded the app...but if its dollars, it is really expensive to buy each song for 15 or 20 dollars. Please confirm the currency 😕
Hey jake I’m looking at using either this or ableton live for church to get started with click and track. But I’m leaning more towards prime as it looks easier to use. Is it easy to create songs on prime ? Because most of the songs we sing in Church won’t be downloadable, so I’m wondering if I can create my own songs with bass, drums, keys etc Thanks.
I have a question. If I use to Scarlett 18i8 how do I connect the looptimus? Does I just plug it in to the other USB Port in the mac? Thanks so much for the help!
In Ableton live can you download stems from loop community. I always use multitracks from multitrack.com in Ableton. However there are some songs on loop that are not on multipacks.com...will this be a simple download....say for example in y Ableton session I have 4 multitrack.com songs and one loop community song....will it work in the same Ableton live session?
Question I just set this up at our church today. But I can still hear the clock and cues through the mains. Any idea why? I have the volume all the way down. And sends on fader are only up on the in ears.
@@Churchfront Jake thanks for your response. Yes sir I checked this as I noticed you pointed it out on your video. After troubleshooting it. Some how I had the two of the in ear bus also sending through mains. I was able to correct it. Really loving the app. Thanks again brother may God bless you and continue to use you
Hi Jake! Thank you for everything you teach us! I have a question.. Why do you use the Pro D2 instead of connecting the L-R 1/4 split directly to two channels on the console ? Thanks man!
Distance. Assuming the Console is at Front of House (in our case, 60+ feet away, in the balcony), you need a Direct Box to convert the Line Output (high) impedence to Mic Level (low) impedence to avoid hum in the system. Rule of thumb: high impedence (1/4" and RCA cable connectors) up to 25'. Anything 20'-25' or more: best to use balanced 3-prong mic cables. Then you need a D.I.Box or converter to change the signal and the cable connection.
This is complex and overwhelming. Im disabled, low income and 63. I'm fairly tech saavy after 2 degrees. This is just over the top too much. I feel defeated.
Thank you very good information for a beginner in use of learning to use tracks and stem for worship.

You said worship several times in the first sentence alone. Will this work in a regular live performance setting, or only if your worshipping?
Can you do a update on your church plant? It’s so exciting!
Could u show your setup w/ the Scarlett 18i8?
Thank you for this wanted to know where can I go to sign up for the raffle to buy prime
Great video bro.

Prices of the tracks are high. Especially when you buy one and find out it’s not containing the right changes.
I don't have this in my app. It's titled PRIME MultiTrack App please help
Very cool program but if I want to have it easy and buy all the tracks it is very expensive. And making the tracks by myself takes hours too.

It's not hard to create the tracks if you are experienced at recording music tracks. They explain how to upload them in a video too.
How do you get the Studio Stims fin Loop Community?
followed the link and not seeing how u download the prime app on my mac
Can you put the songs in the right on iPad I can’t seem to do that?what Am I doing wrong?
Can you use a midi keyboard controller to control prime?
GREAT Video!
Good video man my church been ask me to look in to this but I am drummer could I run it lol
You can run it bro, just get a line in to your iPhone or MacBook and run tracks straight from either device
Just make sure you balance out the levels
Very new to using tracks. It would seem that using Prime could preclude using Ableton - yes? No?
Exactly
How can you delete a multitrack?
I'm having trouble creating an account. Particular with the username

Cant stand apple devices, why cant these people make an android app for this stuff? Like not all of us care for the apple culture!

How do you turn off that annoying voice over that counts the song in? Don’t want it don’t need it EVER!
