- A lot has happened in the last year! I wanted to sit down and talk about what is happening in my life, with Toska and Dorje, and where I want to take things from here. I'm looking forward to doing this more often, so if you like this format please let me know in the comments. See you again soon!

You did well leaving Dorje , I love Rob Chappers but he has no focus at all, he has become the man of a thousand bands and that's awesome because it shows he's a very creative guy and he can play all sorts of styles. Every month he's doing a new band ! TOSKA is your thing, You are a serious drummer, one of the best I've seen out from the UK, got all the chops and good things are coming your way in the music business and you tube. Keep rocking out Ben you got it !

Toska is and has been my favourite band ever since I discovered you guys. I really hope more comes, but right now I suppose things just have to happen as they happen. Great to see a new video.

I love your drumming man, I’ve listened to all the chasin jade material I can find in the internet as well as dorje and toska. Sad to hear you leave dorje but honestly y’all hadn’t released anything since 2016 and it seems like toska is where your heart lies. Can’t wait to hear what you do in the future!

Sad to hear you're leaving Dorje but its understandable tbh (though how Rob splits his time between what like 3 bands plus his family I will never know), I'll probably still end up going back and listening to the older stuff with you on drums even if new stuff comes out, looking forward to the Toska single though!

I can’t say I’m not disappointed you leaving Dorje, your contributions to the Dorje music was undeniable. None the less, things change and possibly for the better, time will tell. But as always I wish the best for you and yours.

I just left a band last week. Lastly, you look content. Your eyes tell the story. You seem resolute and solid in your decisions and that is a great thing. Ben is the man!!! Sadly, I had no idea until today that you were doing your own channel my apologies. Been a fan of your's and Dave and BEA for years now. Yamaha is incredible on a sidenote, my main bass of 17 years has been my '91 Yamaha RBX250FL sanded natural. Love you guys Ben!! Congrats on your mini me my friend. Hey man, you gotta do what you gotta do, leaving a band is bloody hard to do, but if it's what's needed then so be it. Seen you live a few times in Manchester and you've been one of the most on point drummers I've ever seen!

Really enjoyed meeting you on numerous occasions at Dorje gigs and Rob's meetup in Brighton. Your contribution to that band can't be overstated. I'm sure they'll continue to kill it if they decide to continue, but it won't be the same without you. But I do support your decision to leave, if it allows you to put more focus into the band that you really enjoy working on. I'll definitely be coming down to your next Toska tour if you visit Newcastle again

I love Toska but could never get in Dorje, so I'm glad you're not leaving both bands because your drumming is a huge part of the Toska sound. Congrats on the new(ish) arrival.
I had plane & show tickets, for a Toska gig that sadly didn't happen in London.
Hopefully I will see you playing Toska material in the near future.

Hey thanks for the kind words! Musicisum has been pretty much full time for quite a while now, but I have something really cool in the drumming space for next year too. Yes we have new guitar content coming up and I am psyched about what it is going to be! See you again soon

Respect the decision on dorje but man am i sad to here that news. The band dorje gave me new hope for rock music. Not a lot of good music like that around now days and all you hear is a lot of the same. Dorje had a sound that made me want to keep listening
the drummer's prison : waiting and hoping your band will make music and not split up.
I found being in prog bands quite frustrating in general. Issues with scheduling and people forget parts of a song because its more complex then someone leave the band and you have to go through lots of rework.
Yep it's definitely more difficult when the material is very dense

I'll be honest. You, Dave and Rabea never really seemed very comfortable or musically natural with Rob.
He's got a business and is a marketing man with some serious guitar skills, but not the guy to front your band. If you boys used that skill and fan base to bounce off, learned, and had fun, fair play, more power to you.
