Thanks for making this, it is important for me. I am an old dog (bones brigade era) who started skating again about a year and a half ago. I don't live in the US so soft wheels are hard to come by. I did a ton of research and spent a ton for imported ricta clouds and have been very pleased. There was no way in hell I was going to use 99A wheels. Now I have a clear picture of whether or not to go for the bones wheels next time around. Doesn't sound like a huge or necessary upgrade, but might be fun if the price is right.
I got a set of clouds about a month ago after much consideration. They are my favorite wheels to date. I need softer because pebbles destroy me, sending me flying and I like to cruise some. But the sliding is good too. I can break into slide when I need, but stick to the ground when I want too. Glad to see you like them. It’s ok if you don’t love them.
Back during the mid 80s to the early 90s we skated street (no parks in Los Angeles yet) with 92a, 95a, and 97a wheels. For the slide I dug 97a OJ IIs the best, LA city is very hilly, power sliding is a necessity.
The Ricta Clouds 92a are easily an amazing hybrid wheel. One of my favorites when it comes to rougher streets. I also like Mini Logo 95a wheels by the way, very close to the Ricta 92a wheels, but slightly harder and (a lot) cheaper. By the way, the Ricta Chrome Core 99a wheels are also very amazing. Right up there with the Spitfire F4 full conicals.
One thing I have noticed about softer wheels is that although they are better on rough terrain, they slide like butter in the rain to the point they can be dangerous. If it is raining out, I prefer a harder wheel while cruising, but if no rain then softer wheels are better for cruising of course.
I have enjoi rated 83a 52 and I went up a flat curb was slightly wet ye I did the superman stance cut knee elbow and cut right middle finger have a scar there now I didn't expect to go flying lol
Love these. They helped get me back into skating!! Edit: tricked me with that title bro. 😂 I'd recommend these wheels for beginners who want a little extra confidence but not homies with actual tricks like George.

@@liggerz87 a lot of people will put graphic in, except for spitfires which is what I do (spitfire graphic out) but it really is up to you boss man. Have fun
With most wheels it's definitely cooler to put your wheel inside out on your axle but for the Richter clouds you should really have the outside of the wheel facing out because the inside locks in to grind's way better then the bumpy outside
As a beginner, I can tell you that the Ricta Clouds 92A 54mm are absolutely the best wheels for learning to skateboard if you can't always ride on marble, but on normal roads. I made the most progress with the Ricta, up to the Ollie. I also have bones 52mm 99as, but they are just too small and too hard for beginners who have to practice in parking lots and streets. I have to force the Ricta to slide a lot, but that is better as a beginner than when you skid and slide too easily. I will definitely try the Bones again later.
After using Clouds for rolling around, i noticed that my bearings roll for much longer than before when i was using Spitfire Bigheads (99A classic shape with wider riding surface).
Check out the OJ Nomads or any other 95a wheels. 95a gives you a teeny bit more slide/scronk noise but still lets you skate crusty pavement. 92 or 95 will always be my preference. I can't handle the feel of 99/101 on regular streets.

One second smooth, then too bumpy to skate, then half and half. Never consistent and absolutely abysmal. I had to get Ricta Clouds just because of how crap our sidewalks are.
Which hardness did you get? I'm in the UK too. How are they?
@@AfroGelXT I have ricta clouds 56mm 93a and I have enjoi 52mm 83a and I like both no noise when moving forward also have element all terrain wheels rated 95a they said on site 52mm but I think there more like 53 maybe 54 and I just hate the feel of them if you want I could do a video of all 3
@@liggerz87 hi, I'm surprised your 93a rictas are quiet...I have 58mm 90a mini logos and they're still quite noisy on roads and some of the paths here in the UK. I'd be interested in your video...it could help some other people too
@@AfroGelXT I mean I think there noisy but it don't bother me at all I'll deffo do a video then won't be a master piece as I will be using my phone lol
@@liggerz87 I get what you mean. haha no worries about your video quality. Please let me know once it's up
What was the name of the wheel tho
You should try the ricta wheels with bronson g3's in them, then they feel probably better. Bones Bearings and Wheels are skate1 and Ricta and bronson are funfactory, right? Then the comparison would be more fair. And maybe you could recommend this combination at least until the bones 93A wheels are out. :-) ( Second chance for the ricta wheels, maybe in comparison with the mini logo 95A's with bones bearings in them? Would be content, right?) :-)
Love your vids

bro i skate ricta wheels and they are so amazing
