- This is a clip from a recent workshop I gave, hosted by Mr. Cornelius Clay of California. In it I am pointing out the value of research into legitimate teachers of fighting principles. In it I mentioned Terry O'Neil of the UK and another man who was also a doorman in the UK. The mention of the F.B.I was actually a mishap. The actual agency I meant to speak of is an investigative unit from the UK. It was that investigative agency that informed the man in question of his exploits in a street fight, most would not have survived. The major point being made here is that the cult of personality is a detriment to real martial art learning and development.

Kenny Lopez: As you may know, I have a strict uncompromising stand of people posting videos of people! I work hard to provide real info to my subscribers and I have done it is very little to no support from other people on TH-cam. Unless I persoannly know or see a person, even hear them, I do NOT have them featured on my channel. The people I mention are NOT style specific. Terry fight Shotokan, but he did not SAY he represented it.

ComplexBlackness: I did read the book, but you forget something: I started in contact karate in 1973. Terry O'Neil was fighting then. My teacher in Shotokan karate is Errol Bennett. During his time as lead man for the US Shotokan team he FOUGHT Elwyn Hall twice. In other words my good friend, I know cause I was there at the time it was being done.

I have that Blackbelt magazine about Terry O'neill. I never heard of him but seen clips of him and he's a big , intimidating guy. I love that jab at Joe Racist Rogan at the end who didn't qualify to make the list.
