Hi Matt, I noticed on the last vid in the comments that the kids look up to you that's fantastic that the youngsters are into fishing it's a dieing hobby over here. I'm 30 yo from Scotland and I look up to you 😂🎣 you are an amazing angeler I done some fishing when I was at Nosa in 2019 hopefully get back some day, as for now I'll need to stick to the trout and Salmon I bet my PB today on the mighty river Tay with a 16 Lb fresh Atlantic Salmon. Keep up the great work mate and I enjoyed that 1 something a bit different. Tight lines 🎣 🎣
Loved it mat, it’s cool to see a different perspective of the areas your fishing with some underwater stuff, I love learning things off your fishing videos to then adapt to my own areas and it would be cool to use the same approach with your spearing videos with the stuff you learn and passing it on to us. Every time I go spearing with people they all go off in different directions and no one looks out for each other so would be cool to see the principles behind the team diving and watching out for each other and then putting that in place here.

Spear fishing content is good. Can get repetitive if it’s just drop after drop from 2 days worth of diving. Would be good to get full insight from a fisho and spearo perspective. Tides, moon, time of day , current run, bombies, flats etc. We are, I guess, semi experienced (not pros by any stretch but have fished fairly successfully and frequently my whole life) when we get a chance to go out wide we will go to bottom fish, top water cast, jig and get some spearing in, all in a day because we aren’t fortunate enough to get out every week ! Most of the time just winging it or doing what has worked before. I’ve picked up some pearls of wisdom from your channel which have helped already but the more info the better !
I love your fishing but I enjoy watching spearfishing as well. Maybe show the fish out of the water cause you can't tell what they are if you're not a spearfisherman plus its always Great to see the fishes colours, size ECT. Cheers!!
Don’t know much about underwater hunting, but it damn sure looked like fun. Plus, the learning you get from understanding the fish and their habitat will only make you a better fisherman. It’s good to be Mattie! Well done 👍

Mate love your vids. Not interested in spearfishing what so ever. I appreciate the knowledge about fish behaviour you gain from spearfishing but the act of it doesn't interest me at all. Either way love your content and information you share about fish and how to target them.
Matty how good was that video, interesting seeing the Trout just lazing above the plate coral, I definitely recommend you do more diving and showing us FOBS fishermen what its like under the boat. FOBS: Fear of being sharkshit.

Im into all kinds of fishing, but there is nothing that makes you feel more vulnerable and more alive than doing a deep dive in open water. Nothing else can replicate that feeling, I have never been much of a spearo but I would like to give it more focus. Done plenty of free diving and its incredible to be surrounded by that much blue.
That was amazing stuff. So peaceful and serene you can choose the fish you want, well almost and experience a whole new world. Would loved to have done that in younger years but now its almost as thrilling to watch someone else enjoying it. Well done Matt, great show.
